Hod Rod Repair, Fender amp loses volume issue

Just showing how to fix Fender Hot Rod amp :) Have fun. After watching That pedal show, Andertons, Stevie ray Vaughn, you end up with a lot of gear unfortunately sometimes it needs to be fixed...

Clean up the burn spots. Remove the existing resistors in the burn spot and replace them with new ones lifted half an inch from the board.

is it true you can fold up the ring pull from the beer can and use it as a fuse if your fuse keeps blowing?

@@issaccartwright736 If your fuse keeps blowing and you just keep replacing it your amp will break permanently, you have to find out why it keeps blowing fuses.

Wouldn't had been a good idea to clean those burn places with something?

Those amps have components to close to the board you gotta raise those parts before the damage is unrepairable

before it starts carbonizing the fiberglass. then repair gets a lot harder. (but still possible,I've done it with a Dremel,eyelets,and epoxy glue. peel back the foil traces,grind out the charred PCB, filled with epoxy,then flatten,drill new holes,replace tracks and set eyelets. )
