Hoda and Jenna are such a great team…they’re fun & interesting..both so pretty. And Joanna and Chip…I sure miss them on tv…particularly Jo’s cooking show and they’d occasionally have the kids there or Chip would stop in. They both are so great looking…I still cannot believe she has had five children. She’s stunning and never ages. Great couple. ❤️❤️

one thing about fixer upper: when joanna buys random decor stuff, i would always think "ew! why? please dont get that it's so ugly on its own". But she makes it work! it looks spectacular in the end. Another thing i learned is that a dark wood floor anchors the space: keep walls and cabinets white, and make the floor and accessories black. The white walls make the space look fresh, and the dark floor anchors the space, so it feels cozy but elegant.

I find it absolutely fascinating, baffling and befuddling that 90-something-percent of all parents hand their kids smartphones, hand them tablets, and hand them social media....when every study, every bit of logic, every bit of everything points to these things ruining kid's ability to develop a functional and healthy brain.

My sons get phones when they start working and can help pay for them 16-18. My oldest seemed fine with it but it’s a constant reminder with my youngest. It’s sort of like digging in your heels and not giving in.

Without her husband, none of it would have happened. He is the one who knows how to do the actual work. She is the design person. And telling people what to do. So what? Chip and the guys do the work. Whatever handiwork Joanna may do was learned from her husband and team. Joanna seems full of herself
