Fantastic solution! However, I'm wondering, what good is a wheelchair without footrests? I borrowed one from our neighbour today for my mother, the same thing, no footrests.

You are probably able to take out the foot rests. In that way they won't be in the way when you want to transfer a person. Some persons don't use foot rests so they are able to use their legs to move in their wheelchair.

Heel mooi dit. Weinig inspanning voor allebei. Er is maar 1 verpleegkundige nodig. Fantastisch. Mooi stukje techniek.

Normally you can attach or detach those when needed. Where do you live? If in the Netherlands, at Vegro we can buy and or rent items like these...
