Why? because she wasn´t healty when she lost all that weight in a short period, she was starving herself and doing it just for the society, not for her. Now she looks flawless and healty. Guys I don't think its offensive to say she gained weight. Weight gain isn't bad, only when you gain too much and become obese and unhealthy. This is why people feel the need to starve themselves, because it's such a "taboo" thing to talk about when, it really isn't. Yes, she's only a little over weight and that's fine. She looks perfectly healthy to me, and that's all that matters. She's still incredibly beautiful and talented so I think there's more to her than just her body.

AiDa Shakhabayeva tbh i think a big portion on how is that once they really become trainees ( for idols/singers) they dont go out as much since they are continuously training ( they dont get exposed to sun as much) .In terms of foreign idols specifically , once they move to korea to train, i think they learn techniques on how to properly take care of their skin in terms of sunscreen & etc since countries such as america dont care much about being pale . plus korean dermatologist are very skilled in the whitening/skin color since its such a big thing in korea

I think she had always been pale since she was a kid, you can see in her "No One" video, her skin was very fair, in her late teens/early 20s she looked more tanned because I think a lot of young people from New Jersey enjoy sunbathing/going to the beach, Ailee mentioned this once in an interview that she really missed going to the beach with her friends. Once she moved to Korea she probably didn't get time/chance to go to the beach that much (or tanning saloon) and fair skin is also preferred there. If you stop tanning or sunbathing and you have a naturally fair skin, after a while your skin will go back to its original complexion I guess. I'm like that too, I have fairly pale skin but it will turn darker if I'm exposed to the sun a lot during holiday, after a few weeks (sadly) it will go back to the lighter complexion.
