What a gentle Soul, his music will live forever. When I am angry about our country social-economic matters, I listen to Fela Kuti music to escape it all! Forever Relevant in all Generations!
@yonda39625 жыл бұрын
Fela Kuti has inspired me with his music so much that I am grateful I found it on my spiritual journey. I have researched about Fela Kuti. Watch his documentaries and listened to his music. Lol there is so much I can write about him. But There's one thing Fela Kuti stood for. Fela Kuti came here to free his race of African continent. Yes he talked about politics and he hated politicians and they feared him and hated him they even chose to arrest him. Fela Kuti came here to tell everyone that there is something within us from the Infinite Creator or you may call it God or Allah or Energy or Christ or whatever you may call it in your mind which is a vibratory sound complex/distortion of the Law of One lol but you get me. Yes Fela Kuti came to wake up his people of color that these politicians don't care about you just find that which you love which only you can Find by going Inside and Seeking Within. Jehoshua Christ the one you know as Jesus Christ in your own understanding/knowledge said it that" The Kingdom of God is Within You and outside of YOU" "Seek and You Shall Find". Fela Kuti with music which is said "Music is weapon, Music is the power, Music is the Future" I think this is what he meant that his music will live till forever it will not die as we are evolving it is also gonna evolve with us. Fela Kuti.

Simply put , Fela is a prophet that came before his time . All the problems of Nigeria are encapsulated in his music and are relevant yesterday, today and in future . Economics students till professorial stages need not further for their writing their reference in their dissertation. Period

Coco Chanel are you thinking at all.. It is life! And it is very political, directed to wake the people up and let the dumb politicians know that someone can still stand up to them and tell them the truth. Fela only sang so that people like you can hear because if he talks normally, you won’t hear. This is much more than music! Fela himself said this!
@cjduru57154 жыл бұрын
@cocochanel, such arrogance in ignorance. The song is about political issues at both the national & international level and you are talking crap. Pls go back to Instagram and continue twerking, this space is for intelligent people.

Hi the. Truth is always bitter, people look massengger and not the massage God was using him to tell us to standup for justice and truth but no one have the discerning spirit to pick it up .thhe said he is a trouble maker .they where looking at his socially life. Can u image. No religion leader of any faith came out to day he was singing the truth.now what can those. Who were against by him will have to say now? He is testing. We are now facing the reality let all true conscious African came out and promont good leaders ship,love of humanity and stop hidden under Religion, or tribalism to distort people and our blessed countenant God bleed AFRICA ,God bless Nigerian

A masterclass of History and Geopolitics. Fela was so smart and his writing encapsulates the paradigms that engulfed his contemporary Africans inside Cold War neo colonial brutal regimes. He defines rights and common sense. APPEALING soldiers to stop behaving like ruthless Apartheid beasts upon their own compatriots. Such wordsmyths like Fela bring me to think of Gil-Scot Heron and the way his poetry and songs pictured purely USA policies and post-WWII Black America. This content should be taught in African schools, unlike all the scum made in France or UK that we drink from teachers teaching us nonsense!
