The Great Olufela is alive every time we play his songs.

Long live Fela. His lyrics are still valid and true. Salutes and respect from Chile, where Fela's music aplies, even more today!

Long live Fela his lyrics are still applicable. I know your country's history my brother. The lies of UN and the big others we know them robbing the common man to enrich others in the so called rich nations. We are not poor nations we know the poor only Fela was courageous to speak out.

The message of this song hits me like a ton of bricks. Fela writes about the realest shit. He delivers a very sad and bitter truth in such a beautiful way.

our bodies have an incredible range of vibrational frequencies;this brother Fela's music has sublime vibrational range that will create an amzing resonance, and if you pay attention to the diologue therein you will discern a message so powerful...I dare sy so profound that it requests of you one task: PASS IT ON AND SPREAD THIS MESSAGE for this music is empowering...as brother FELA says,"lets sing a nice song together."

The song is about how Africa has plenty to take care of itself. But Europeans came and taught Africans they were “3rd world” “living in a dust bin” in relations to their “living standards”. Promising clean water, light and food when Africa was fine before them coming. The ironic thing is European lifestyle and values have poisoned the water, adulterated the food, and destroyed the global environment. Africa wake up, foreign things are NOT better, they are destructive and wasteful. Look at the US morally, its hell on earth. Natural living is the best, which Africans were doing for MILLIONS of years, while white people have only been here for 5000.
