You guys should visit Stirling! I’m Aussie but I used to live there! Stirling castle is one of the best castles I’ve been too. You can also check out the Wallace moment (named after William Wallace I.e ‘Braveheart’) and Stirling bridge has something to do with him too aha Stirling is between Glasgow and Edinburgh - short little detour ☺️

The quality of fish and chips varies dramatically across the UK. It can also vary at the same establishment depending on the time of day and how busy they are (ie how fresh the oil is) and so on.

The fudge you had in London would’ve been mass-produced chewy crap that doesn’t qualify as fudge IMO. Traditional, crumbly fudge is delicious. There’s a small independent chain all across the West Country called Roly’s (in places like Wells - an insanely beautiful city with a cathedral) that sells the most incredible fudge in many different flavours.
