Gotta also say, I was someone who wasn't high on Caleb as the pick and was hoping they'd trade it. But Caleb has really changed my opinion. I think his attitude has been fantastic through all of this. Yes, he's a bit theatric on the sidelines at times, but I think that's just what he does. In every other way, he's stayed positive and hasn't let it all get to him. You'd see the season wear on guys like Trubisky and Fields towards the end, but Caleb has been positive and had a healthy understanding that this was a season that wasn't going to be a Cinderella story, and everything he did was to just build for next season.

It took a lot of little miracles (horsecollar tackle, holding call that stopped the clock, etc.) for that drive to happen, but one thing you can't deny about Caleb this year is that he's showed up at the ends of games and set them up for a win on several occasions. Love that Santos made the kick but, my god, compare the Packers' kicker's kick at 55yds to Santos' at 51. Santos' barely made it. Definitely need to get ourselves a new kicker this offseason. Didn't mind them winning, as breaking all those losing streaks was more important than the potential tankathon implications. Clutch catch by Odunze as well.

I think this will go down as THE Packer game. What I mean by THE Packer game is that 1) They finally beat the Packers and broke the 11 game losing streak against Green Bay. 2) Caleb Williams, despite all the growth he still needs to do, needed this because he's played far too well as a rookie to lose again. For pride's sake, he needed that. 3) It ended the in-season losing streak on the road, on the last play, in Lambeau Field of all places. 4) If Caleb is indeed the Bears franchise QB, then it's important that he feels this rivalry, and that he takes it as seriously as the organization and the fans do. It's about time things turn around.

Finally, some comments about Swift. The guy runs well about 1 in every 10 carries. Other than that, he's garbage. He *must* be in open field to run effectively. He can't evade even one defender in the backfield. "Swift", he is usually not. He's certainly NOT a guy you want to build your ground game around. Yeah, like I say, he gets good yardage sometimes. But not often enough. And he is a flyweight. He can't bulldoze my mother.

Jahns is always so negative. He is not a Bears fan. He thinks the Bears suck and says so in so many different ways, every podcast. Hoge needs to dwell on the negative as well (being the true media diva). The season is over and the Bears beat the Pack for the first time in a long time. No need to focus on the negative. It's over. Also, saying that there is only two candidates for HC is BS. There is a list of ten or twelve candidates and Ben Johnson is not one of them. He is not qualified.

Black Monday needs to see everyone from Poles and the entire coaching staff sent packing. Root for the Lions tonight so that creepy Kevin Warren can get calls in to Ben Johnson and Ray Agnew for the HC and GM jobs in Chicago. Everyone knows that they would be very interested in those jobs and creepy Kevin can get the money from ownership to pay their price. A man can dream. lol! The final drive could not have been played any better with the Moore in motion early penalty and the pressure Caleb was under. The final three plays after that went perfectly. Caleb Williams will thrive under a new head coach and general manager who knows how to acquire offensive line talent a step better than Poles. I believe that Agnew has been learning as Detroit's assistant GM for the past several years. D.J. Moore's statement was lighthearted fun.
