Hogger Cosplay Suit Up: how to become a gnoll

This is how I put on my Hogger cosplay. It takes about 15 mintues to fully become a gnoll. the video has been sped up for easier viewing. There are lots of pieces that Hogger needs, good thing my husband is there to help me out. I know lots of people have requested a suiting up video so here it is!

For those wondering how I see, there is a hole out of the bottom of the neck as well as a vision port out of the mouth!

i have a different question, how did you get that head "the costumes" to move and even mopen its mouth? is there like a little mechanism that helps with that or pure muscle movement?

Just Navlis the left arm isn't real :) so they use that one to move it

I saw one a person had a longer area for their head and had a camera system in it cause the mouth basicly covered their eyes so they found a way to see by doing mini cameras where their eyesite would normally be and it gave them the vision you'd normally have without a costume. It looked cool, but it was also Fuge (Frikin Huge). The reason is he had stilts on his legs and arm extenders, it was awesome.

All I can think of when I see this is the Hunchback from Notre Dom, the hyenas from Lion King, and Crash Bandicoot. It's really cool though, alot of detail went into this.

Lmao as somone who dresses up often I always make sure to do make sure all those needs are met before I set up. But the first few times you can find yourself forgetting and having to undress for another 15 minutes. It's so painful😭

I had seen all the individual parts, but it definately surprised me how involved the whole process was altogether. It's interesting how many parts were under the fur to give the custome that distinct shape. So cool! :D

Was a bit surprised to actually find your arm inside the costume. Your prototype and concept description had you puppeteer the arm with a rod. When I saw that, I went back to the Blizzcon video and looked closely at the Hogger parts. And to be honest, that's when I first noticed the legs being outside of Hogger because I was specifically looking for that detail, but no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't see your arm. Now I know why. In any case, great costume.

+John Cochran yeah I changed my mind a lot with the arms. Probably to my detriment ^^' I thought I wouldn't have enough time to do the rod puppeted arm and what I actually ended up doing I wasn't really happy with in the end. I probably will go back and redo that part of the costume one day.

Thank you! The head and mouth is a puppet, so one of Hogger's arms is fake, my arm is inside the neck and head :)
