Confundo is a confusion spell, so presumably it would have less control than Imperio, with there still being a possibility that the enemy might attack you even as they attack their allies.

Maybe it's a good thing that they didn't include all spells. This makes me excited to look out for future releases. My only wish is that they give the player the choice to choose their "specialty" (eg. Fire magic, water magic, transfiguration, dark magic, etc). A player starts with basic cast but can grow their craft by developing their spells the same way we chose talent points.

Yes!! That’s a great idea. Having to focus on one or the other element or maybe stance could really diversify everyone’s play styles.. not only stealth/non stealth.

I feel like that doesn't fit with the lore at all though, anyone can use fire spells or the unforgivable curses. I'd like too see a spell crafting table or something, snape was able to create spells as seen in The Half Blood prince.

@@notmybuddyguy477 everyone can use fire spells, but only ashwinders can do a fire tornado. I expect the same for players. The most dramatic that it gets In the current game is ancient magic, which is at random.

As we all want number 9, our link with wizrdingworld should give us our test results, just like with our wands. Or we could change it to whatever full body we want. But also with the phoenix form, since that isn't in the test at all. Or how about a thunderbird which so far is only a fan art. Here's more spells I would like. From the 3rd and 4th game, the Seize and Pull Charm: Carpe Retractum. From the 4th Plant Growing Charm: Herbivicus. Even Magicus Extremos, along with all the jinxes, charms, and spells from the 4th game that were combos but as seperate.

Expecto Patronum, can be used for a lot more things, other than to deter creatures and beings. We saw Snape use Expecto Patronum, to guide and protect Harry. So maybe in the sequel, we can use it to distract enemies, help guide/protect our companions and or family/significant others.

1. Love the stealth idea for Rictemsempra. 2. Utilizing the enviroment is something I'd love to see more of in the sequel. 3. If the Ministry of Magic is searching for a criminal, they may send out dementors into the open world to track them down. So, (spoilers) lets say Sebastian gets away from the Ministry before they actually put him in Azkaban. That'll give them plenty of reason to show up because 1. It's something the Ministry would be embarrased by and 2. It's a wizard that has knowingly killed someone.

This would be cool! They could make it a “lethal mode” like ghost of Tsushima where if you get hit twice your dead, but you can also take down enemies in two hits. On top of that letting them randomly use the killing curse on us would be exciting!

Apart from missing spells 🪄, We’ve listed, I’m so excited about the Hogwarts Legacy expansion this summer, I think some new areas like Diagon Alley and Ministry of Magic would great someone mentioned learning the patronus charm at levels like we did learning Alohomora with Mr Moon the caretaker would be cool to face dementors.

1. Reducto 💥- " Why would you want more blasting curses? Bombarda & confringo are more than enough." You underestimate my desire & capacity for destruction & sending my foes into the stratosphere! At the same time Reducto to me is far stronger than bombarda, the amount of times I've been blasted off cliffs by that bloody curse by the duelist b*****s Same with Expulso 💥, I want the devastating visuals & effects from the leaked 2018 footage back. 2. Aquamenti ⛲️- This would be useful for puzzles as well as combat say a stronger tier acting, as a water Canon & of course the water ball. 3. Rictumsempra 🪶- This was supposed to be in but was cut. Useful for distractions or if a foe is to use a curse & we use the tickling charm to delay them 4. Immobulus 🛑- I'm surprised this wasn't added either as we have very few ways of incapacitating our foes, I suppose you have arresto but that's more to slow objects or people down from crashing than impeding their movement. Would be very useful say one of the trolls when charging at us or on mechanical mechanisms device to prevent it from closing. ( was also going over this spell in my head to figure out what combos to use, sadly it was not in) 5. Firestorm 🔥- I think if our MC gestures like the executioners & conjures firestorm we could direct its movement. Having a progression 🌳 would be great & we'd have tiers where perhaps after duo,tria & maxima we learn firestorm or fiendfyre being the ultimate form of the element, either can be learned & not blocked off. I agree with being able to use the spells & the environment in more creative ways, its fun but gets repetitive. 6. Oppugno 🗡🏹- we heard the MC cast this in the SOP as a summon & redirect spell before attacking with barrels or swords/crossbows but it got switched out for Ancient Magic throw instead. Oppugno would be great to summon broken pieces of debris or what ever has been destroyed to then attack our foes 7. Episkey 🏥- Very surprised we didn't get any healing spells would have been handy to have episkey as an alternative should we run out of WW, & we can upgrade it. 8. Meteolojinx ☔️- this would be useful for changing the seasons or weather conditions should they not favour us in quests, perhaps theirs a section of the map that's treacherous & we can use this spell to gain passage. 9. The patronus charm🦌- Hopefully this charm is learnable even if only the in corporeal. What if they posted dementors around the outskirts of Hogwarts like fudge did? Given theirs been 3 character deaths in the game, the MOM will probably want to know why & get involved & snoop meaning both creatures would be on the prowl. Also I keep thinking of the lethifold from the TES 4 or 5 I forgot what the HP ones looked like. Another thing what would our MC fear seeing as we have no BG, dementors have us relive our worst memories so what would our MC hear? 10. Confundo 😵‍💫- A lesser version of imperio but could give us brief reprieve from our foes or prefects/ faculty. Thanks for the video Ben & have a great day !🙂

And you’re right, The Ministry definitely might get super pissed and worried about us in the sequel and so they will install dementors all a round the castle 🤔

Yes with 3 deaths allready ( one being a teacher & ex auror, the MOM will Likley want to know what the hell is going on. They may be daft enough to install dementors, it is the MOM. I'm just wondering what would happen to us, do we relive the final repository? The carriage or something else that happened the previous year. Our MC does not have a past, so it would be difficult to see what our MC would be forced to relive.

Expecto Patronum is what I need! Fiend Fire and also summoning inferi (NPCs can do it why can’t we?) Also seeing we can manipulate ancient magic and can dodge into a white smoke, let us fly without a broom in white or black smoke based on our alignment. Also for a DLC they should allow us a Harry Potter forehead scar and emerald green eye color we could choose from the character creator. Who doesn’t wanna role play as Harry before he was even born!?

We all talk about iconic spells being added in DLC. But how about expanding the Ancient Magic system? So you could do more than just call down lightning or yeet explosive barrels, considering what we see the Keepers do in cutscenes with Ancient Magic

@firehedgehog1446 I agree, we were stuck with the same AM spells throughout the entire game. As much as I loved the finishers, they were always random, I get why though. I expected the keepers trials to reward us with new AM spells that could restore locations that have been corrupted by dark magic, conjuration or healing or at least the power to harness the current finishers. But nope the trials accomplished absolutely nothing & were a complete waste of time to me the keepers never taught us anything, we already new AM was dangerous based on the fact all we pretty much do with our ability is kill or solve puzzles...I also find the keepers highly sanctimonious & incredibly self righteous, I pretty much hate them, especially with how Rackham says "Now that you think like us" before entering the final repository.

I think in the sequel we can learn more about our ability and get more accustomed to Ancient Magic, so maybe we will get to Spell crafting so to say and make our own slotable powerful AM spells

@@BenjaminSnow I really like the idea of being able to craft our own AM spells, take a page from the THUG games (Tony Hawks underground) Create a special move or in this case a spell where you could have so many steps & play with the start, middle & ending visuals & what effects the spell will have. But there should be options, what does the spell do? what will it's primary use be used for? Damage/kill heal/restore change/ alter or conjure & can we assign buttons to that spell rather than it being so random so we can properly harness our power. I want our ability greatly expanded upon & to see what other uses it has, while usng it to take out foes s fun I want to see what other avenues it can go in & not have 4 sanctimonious figures thinking they know whats best when only 1 had the ability to begin with.

I want funny curses to use against for example Dark Wizards without having to resort to the unforgivable ones. So curses like Slugulus Erecto (Eat Slugs in the movies) which could have a ticking damage and even interrupt the target from casting spells because they’re occupied throwing up slugs. Bat-Bogey Hex would be cool as well etc.

I would love to see more spells and hexs such as bat bogey hex that Ginny created and perhaps more dialogue with NPCs and the option of talking with them. Also able to fight with your mounts and while riding. Able to walk beside your mount. Sell potions and such. More missions with NPCs such as Omnis.

@BenjaminSnow OK, picture it. You're getting ready for 6th year when you receive a letter from the late professor fig. It doesn't tell you much only that it pertains to more ancient magic and that you need to retrieve a certain artifact. Unfortunately, you find out that artifact is now at Borgin and Burkes A few days pass and your Dad takes you to Diagon Alley to get your school supplies, during which you get ready to head to Knockturn Alley to retrieve the artifact. That's when you run into Ominis and he's flabbergasted that you're heading to Knockturn Alley. Given what happened last year, he's worried that the MC is trying to learn more about the Dark Arts, so that's when the MC has the option to tell him about you're ancient magic since Sebastian never told him. After which he refuses to let the MC go into Knockturn Alley alone. During your exploration you can ask how Sebastian has been doing. Also the MC's dad is voice by the same VA as Hawke for DA2 😁

They have 1 activity where you move the ball to score points and that’s it… I got bored after beating the game because the lack of fun things to do and the lack of mini games like that… just feels like a flying around simulator for me now.
