With the chamber the basilisk can be controlled by an heir of Slytherin, which Ominis is. And he's shown he's not the type that enjoys causing others harm, so if he did go with you into the chamber it could give us an opportunity to explore without necessarily having to fight/kill the basilisk or cause any real plot holes.

Absolutely, as you say it’s a given that Ominis is a good guy and it’s totally believable that he could find the chamber and then never tell another living soul because he doesn’t want anyone to be able to complete the task Slytherin wanted his heir to fulfil.

I would love a six-year quest line where you go to class every day and the main quest is much more laid-back or doesn’t really ramp up until the last quarter of the quest line. It would be awesome to go to Potions, charms, defense against the dark arts, and care of magical creatures classes. they really messed up when they didn’t make it like the original like bully. And for instance, you could get perks for going to these classes like for potions you could get the potion you make or your potions become more effective every time you go to class or like in charm, it could make your spells more powerful. Defense against the dark could give you buffs against certain creatures. And for care of magical creatures, you could get the ability to capture and take care of different creatures as you go to class. They didn’t even have to make it mandatory but you still get these perks if you go to the class. And then, obviously there would be some point where the buffs would end so you don’t get over powered. Just my two cents 🤷‍♂️

Quidich, get a Patronus, become an animagus, a house point system, a reputation system (to actually make it matter that you use Dark magic or not, or help people), confundo would be amazing bcs it gives you the tactical equivalent of Crucio (since most of them time that's how you use it besides spreading the curse effect).

Same, especially the potions. I just thought it was so weird how that first potions class has you actually adding drops of ingredients to the cauldron and you never do that again. Makes me feel like there was an original plan for a more involved mechanic for crafting potions which I absolutely need in my life. I miss the old Pottermore potion making game! It was so fun and relaxing 😌

The only thing I ask for is NG+ Hogwarts Legacy is a game that has a lot of potential but feels limited in some things, for example: you do not have interaction with the NPCs in the open world, you do not have a relationship system, whether romantic or friendly, with other characters, the decisions do not really affect the story or some characters and also you can't be a white wizard or a dark wizard because there is no morality system, all those things I hope they correct with a Hogwarts Legacy 2

For the future I would like to see somd kind of “Hogwarts Online”. Comparable to Red Dead Online. The ability to actually represent your house with other players and actually compete against other players and fight for house points is just a good idea! And I think it would be great if you had the opportunity to become an Animagus. Maybe depending on your house you could be offered a certain selection of animals, where you could then choose one to transform into.

Heres a free idea for portkey games: add quidditch to hogwarts legacy by tying it in to quidditch champions. Yo go to the pitch, talk to that snooty Slytherin race gorl about a quidditch match, and the quidditch champions homescreen opens, whats this?! A dozen new skins based on the rest of the legacy characters. A way to keep player count high in champions while giving legacy players what they want. And a way to pad the sales of quidditch champions to unlock that feature in legacy. Everyone wins

Well playing as a Ravenclaw I was super sad we did not get a student questline of our own. To be honest I think there was big need for a lot more interaction with the other students and that is one of the main problems of the game. Honestly I think there needs to be at least 2 students for each house to befriend with bigger questlines. Maybe add companions we can take around with us in the open world! Classes were also way to few in the bace game! So adding some might be awesome. Espcially if we get new spells, herbs, other ingridiences and potions. Also the events left a lot to be desired: We did not get to go shopping for our school supplys. We did not get to ride the Hogwarts Express. We did not get an introduction to our houseteacher bringing us to our common room after choosing a house. I do not know who my houseteacher is after finishing the game! We did not get the festivals like Halloween and so on. We did not get anything to do during schoolbreaks. We also had no real house pocal competition where we earn and loose points. So I think they can place the story of the DLC either paralell to the main story expanding the entire schoolyear, have it play during school breaks or have it as some sort of afterstory before the next schoolyear.

I finished my first play through about a month ago and had to walk away. I’m still not over how heartbroken the ending left me. I wanted to find a cure for Anne. Now Sebastian has no one. I CRIED when Natsai got attacked by Harlow and I didn’t even like her in the beginning. I want more from them. Poppy’s story ended so neatly and wonderfully.

Sebastian and Anne's story needs to be completed. They spent the entire game building up your relationship with him and sympathizing with his DYING sister, implying that the MC might hold the key to saving her, but they just left everything hanging with them both. Whether or not you turn him in at the end, his ending as it stands, sucks. He either ends up in Azkaban or ends up alone with his twin sister not speaking to him and still dying from her curse. This seems like an obvious loose end that needs to be tied up. THAT is what I'm hoping for. I figured it might happen in a sequel but, I'd really love to have that story resolved sooner than later.

If they make a sequel, the tone needs to be more reflective of HP films, particularly the final four. The character is in his fifth year and by that point it should really start to mature. The people who read the books/watched the films are approaching their 30's if not already crossed into them. Now I'm not saying they need to exclusively cater to 30 year olds, but the point is to recognise that your main audience has matured way past pre-teen adolescent age. If you're playing around with the dark arts, it needs to be more serious. And give players actually choices that are meaningful to the narrative. We're past the point now where choices don't actually mean anything in games.

And no, paid upgrade isnt always graphical. You can "upgrade" to a deluxe version of a game with added cosmetics or content or whatever. That's not dlc, that's a deluxe version. This is the same thing, they're just calling it a directors cut. DLC would be like, if they said "we have a big story mission in addition to the base content that extends to the main campaign beyond the ending" like Fallout's Far Harbor. That's not what this is.
