Only other person I've seen with the same GPU as me, I feel your pain. I've found the recommended settings work fine most of the time but my game drops down to 5-15fps during some action gameplay/cut scenes. Kinda wish I waited to buy this game when I had a better built

So I've been reading around on Reddit and on the steam forums, and people with high end rigs are even having those same drops in frame rate. The game needs an optimization patch. Otherwise I was pretty happy with performance in the first hour or two of gameplay until I got to Hogwarts lol.

@NotTheAverageGamerz I'm a little late to this it seems. But I see you mentioning the game running fine until getting to hogwarts? What exactly happened lol? Because when I got to hogwarts all hell broke loose and my graphics in the cut scenes looked like something out of a horror movie with how bad the graphics were. Video after video, setting after setting to no avail. I still can't figure out how to make it run nicely, if I'm missing something or if it just needs patching?

@NotTheAverageGamerz For example I arrived at hogwarts to meet the headmaster and choose my house. Only to be met with ps1 type graphics that resembled something straight out of a Hills have eyes. Which unfortunately ruined my whole experience. So I haven't been able to get passed picking a house because I can't get the graphics right. Any help would be great.

@@Lewwyy You just have to power through it. It’s not always like that it’s just random dips throughout. Usually happens in cut scenes or entering a room/mission with quite a bit going on

The game definitely runs better with upscaling. Hopefully some upcoming patches will better optimize the game. Thanks for the video!

Yea hopefully we will get a hotfix, and tomorrow when the game actually launches we possibly might get a day one patch. The stuttering issues are really annoying and people with even high end pc's are having issues.

My potato laptop with 150MX run this game is hilarious, the characters look like PS1. It look like the game cannot load shader if the texture setting is not ultra high.

I7-7700 GT 730 16 gig ram i know gt 730 aint that pog but i am looking forward to replace it with a GTX 1650, Cause my game keeps crashing at startup,I think its cause of the gt 730, 100% so i will try to get a new GTX 1650 since its the only one accesible to me its very expensive where i live hahahahah (so yeah i wanted to think about what YOU think about it. Will it work?)

Even a 1650 will not be enough to run this game unfortunately, I have a 1660 TI and I have to run it at 720p with pretty much every setting on low or medium and i still get massive frame drops, if I was you and I wanted to play this game I would not buy the 1650, I'd maybe save up a little more and get a better graphics card, If I was you I wouldn't get anything lower than the 1660 ti as its what I use and I'm still having massive issues, good luck bud

Yea should run pretty decent at 1080p medium or so. After some optimization patches it should run on high no issue.

i think you need more ram, like a minimum of 16 gb because the game is really memory consuming

I highly doubt it will run well enough to enjoy with those specs bud, that gpu is the equivalent to a 1060 3GB or even the 1050TI so it will really struggle to play this game, also the RAM will be a big issue the minimum they recommend is 16GB but even 16GB isn't ideal, you'd ideally want 32GB RAM or 16GB at the very least, if I were you I wouldn't waste your money on the game as it will not be enjoyable, I'd either wait until you have a better spec system or wait and hope that the developers release a patch that will make the game better optimised, hope this helps

You definitely need more ram. 16 gigs would help a lot since for me the game is constantly using like 12 gb of ram.

I won't say it's impossible as I saw someone running the game on a gtx 750ti lol. You will probably be running it at low settings though. Your real limiting factor is your CPU as it's a cpu from 2012. If you can get a cheap used fx 8350 on ebay that would help a lot.

I just dont understand i have a 1660 ti graphics card and i run ON 1366 resolution and low settings but IM still struggling to roam around hogwarts bc it keeps going Down to 10-15. Fps and stutters alot and freezes

Every video i search for ( LOW - END PC FPS FIX ) i find like 16 gb minimum of ram, 8 core processor, and like 6gb vram XD... I understand low end pc like mine laptop wchic is 8gb ram , i7 4 core, 2gb vram nvidia xDDDD.
