I understand their concerns. Off subject but if you look at a game like mortal Kombat 1 for switch and how graphic inferior it is compared to other systems it's on you'd understand. I'm not a big graphics geek myself but those graphics on mk 1 for the switch are distracting. I can understand why people are worried about the graphics on this switch version

The graphics - as a game overall - are pretty bad. I play the sims as well and this looks like The Sims 4 on lowest setting from time to time, but the fact the switch can run this decently with such old hardware is insane to me 😭

I personally am in love with this game so far. I've always been a handheld person and l got a switch for Christmas last year. I've been eagerly waiting since. HP fan and I wasn't expecting the best graphics and I was surprised. It's pretty good considering and game play is just fine. If you're a fan of the series you'll love this. Gonna listen to this while I clean my last building for the night and when I get home I have a date with my switch. 😂

Love your comment. How did the date with your switch go? Lol I got the game on the steam deck, it looks and plays great on there. I'm very impressed with how it looks on the switch. I bought it out of curiosity, just to see how it runs and plays on the switch. A marvel, and such a big title like this on the switch, I had to get the physical version, even though it's not all on the cart.

Don’t buy a Switch just to play this game bro. You might as well buy a Steam Deck (or ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion Go), which is more expensive but brings so much more value. Not to mention there are rumors about Switch 2 coming next year (considering it’s been more than 6 years since they released Switch, it’s really likely to happen).

In fact it's more like PS4 SE. Some games, like Alien Isolation are virtually the same on switch (Digital Foundry actually stated that some visuals aspects are BETTER in Alien Isolation, which is insane to me!). Plus we have ports of Doom 2016 and Eternal, like how on earth they do that lol. Pure sorcery

Gotta say, it looks far better than I expected. There are frame rate drops, but the Switch is much older than the PS5 so it's to be expected When I heard it was coming to the Switch I laughed a lot and expected it to look like a PS3 game at best

Yeah, 49 minutes and its just the introduction to the game. This game is a master piece. Owned it on xbox and recently had to get rid of it but still owned a switch. Downloading it right now.

Personally, I'm relieved. I was surprised to see that the graphics on the switch were decent. I don't own a next generation console. I do have a PC but storage can be a problem. I'll see if I can get the switch version for Christmas

I just finished the Switch version, tbh the drop in quality and long loading screens broke the immersion for me, i'm now selling my Switch and planning on getting the PS5, T_T and to think that I bought the Switch a year ago in anticipation for HL, at least i got to experience Zelda BOTW and TOTK.

Just began playing today. The intro was so good just like in the movie. Only died once during the statues fight. I'll have to fight enemies better in the future. Had to adjust the Brightness to see better like the one at 8:48. The previous times were too dark.

I ordered Hogwarts Legacy from Amazon back in May. When I checked my order Monday Nov 13th, it said order to be delivered Wednesday the 15th. After work I didn't receive the game. When I checked my order it had some kind of weird message requiring a verification? Now it appears my order it on back order. There are people already selling this game for outrageous prices on EBay, why didn't I get mine?? 😠😠😠😠

The game is fun! Didn’t purchase the one for my ps5 and waited for the switch version to release and put free download it to my home brew switch. I spent hours doing quests and barely at the beginning with high end gears and at level 20. Explored the whole map except for the bottom right since it is blocked. Will definitely proceed into the story to get more spell since all I have is 3 spells 😂

I'm a beginner for this type of game. I'm more of a farming girl so I love harvest moon and all so the part where I had to fight the freakin' statues I died all over again. I suck at it. It stresses me out

Change your difficulty setting to story mode and give it another go. It makes the battles really easy so it doesn’t detract from the story, and all the rewards/ collectibles are the same so you don’t lose out, it’s just easier to master the battles!

I love the game,, and honestly i love the PS4 version and trust me if i had not bought my friends Ps4 id play this on the Switch because i had preordered it,, However after a month of playing this on Playstation the Graphics alone make me feel better for my decision watching this playthrough kind of makes me sicks with the graphics.. With that said the story should still be the same so for those who do buy it on the Switch ,, Have fun i sure am

I'm a diehard zelda fan but I love the HP books and films! i have 3 sons, my youngest says I won't like this, my 2nd son says I'll love it and my oldest says he doesn't care lol. they are not helping! but I need a new game after almost 100% totk. I think it will be a hard act to follow tbh! I like puzzle solving mainly but I do enjoy beating up a few baddies, just not all battle stuff, I got bored with hyrule warriors very quickly! my other favourite games were mario 64 ( yes really!) fenyx rising, animal crossing, because I do love collecting stuff. any advice appreciated. I'm JO and its been 6 days since I last played BOTW. lol

Ive been in tears for the last hour and for whatever reason your game is coming up totally differently than mine..the pressing X for protego and holding it for a stunning spell does not work and becuase of this it wont let me compelte the level

@nadr3752 yes eventually! It's just a bit fiddly but once you figure it out it's easier. Don't press X the first time until they're literally right about to cast at you and then press X straight after and hold. And then don't start pressing XR until its stunned them

When i play on switch the hood of the robe is glitched/bugged. Its in the robe and then the point/end of the hood is visible sometimes on my back. So now i just wear the hood (hood on option) its really annoying

14:02 Ugh! Why can I not get past this screen? On Nintendo Switch. Mine says "Point L towards onscreen targets to rapidly select between them". I select A to continue and the A circle seems to only load halfway, and nothing happens? What do I need to do here to continue?

@@laisa88 i found out later, that you have to beat them straight from the beginning and to ALWAYS do the protection spell as soon as they try to beat you

Damn mk don't even have much to do besides tap and swipe a damn screen. Not that entertaining if you ask me. Just cause the graphics looked better doesn't mean the gameplay is. Match literally last 1 minute on a regular.

It seems that what you and most others have either ignored or have forgotten, The Switch is not able to produce graphics for such games as Hogwarts Legacy due to its limited physical GPU power, it is a Hand held system ment for traveling purposes, not to be a console that could compare to the likes of PS4 or simular. So if you don't like the way that the game runs on switch, don't play it. I myself don't mind because it shows that at least a games company was willing to try to get there game on to the platform.@@roseforyoubabe
