I love the fact that it has a single player focus. I play games to enjoy them and immerse myself in the stories and worlds they present. It's like immersing myself into a great book where I can take an active role in the story and "be" its protagonist. I can do this because single-player means that it is my character's story. Thus, it becomes my story. To me that's one of the best feelings in the world.

You said it! My two biggest hopes for Legacy also directly tie into this: I was desperately hoping for Legacy to allow us to create our own character, instead of presenting us with a default one, and likewise that we'd be allowed to turn to the Dark Arts as well, define our character by following our own moral compass and not that of Harry Potter and friends. And now we know that both these hopes have been fulfilled! Couldn't be happier!

Haven’t you heard? Single player games are “finished”. I could not disagree with EA more on this. I am so happy Hogwarts Legacy is a story driven RPG. And with **no micro-transactions**. Single player RPGs are my favourite genre, by far. You just can’t make a multiplayer game where you are the main protagonist (with the possible exception of co-op in an RPG). If every character in the game is special, no one is. I do enjoy my fair share of MMOs, but I like and enjoy them for different reasons.

Im the exact opposite. I wish this was an MMO. So much they could do. Evil and good wizards, putting houses against each other on points to win items each week, seeing how other dress and design their characters, dueling others, etc just so much they can do in the world . Overall im just happy we are getting a quality harry potter game, but their are so many series that would do well as an MMO. Harry potter, Game of Thrones, Naruto, newer Star wars MMO, DBZ, etc. Can't wait for it to come out MMO or not though. Looks amazing.

The game I’ve been dreaming of was the completely movie accurate Hogwarts from the half blood Prince game that could be explored being redone in HD and better graphics. Not this medieval version where nearly every location looks completely different. I wanted to walk around movie Hogwarts and hogsmeade. The Game Director, Alan Tew, has such an adorable quality about him. Almost like a child excited about an upcoming holiday. His enthusiasm is infectious and comes across as so sincere. I for one have been waiting for a game like this for so long- can’t wait!

I still can’t get over the scene when the character used the killing curse. I was not expecting any of the unforgivable curses to be in the game but I’m happy it is. Now I wonder if the other curses will be in. It would be cool if you could control another character with imperio or cause intense pain with crutio.

As a child I played the old Harry Potter games with me and my mother. Stayed up till 3am playing. I loved the puzzles spells and wizard cloak physics in the game. This is beyond what I ever dreamed of for this game.

I liked an idea of having a Great Hall lounge where players can zone in online and show off outfits for ply mini games, possibly even duel. Would just be interesting forward direction they could take.

I really do hope the game gets multiplayer added just to experience Hogwarts with a friend or random people, doesn't have to be in the same house and do classes and mini games to compete for the house cup. And quidditch I would love to play that as a competition against other players and houses. There is so much I want for this game, and what I see so far is just amazing work put into this.
