Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Set in the 1890's, 100 years before the events of Harry Potter, the player character is a student starting at Hogwarts in the fifth year. You hold the key to a mysterious ancient magic that threatens the Wizarding World. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. The player character will learn to cast various magical spells, brew potions and master combat abilities.

7 minutes in and I’m drooling 🤤 over the characters lip syncing and subtle head movements and gestures. It’s so fluid and realistic . There are no awkward pauses or random hand movements . (KH3 is an example of awkward)

Well that’s understandable so when it goes on sale definitely get the deluxe version. It’s definitely worth the $70 I paid for the standard but I had to pay a extra $20 for the dark arts pack which put me at $90 for the game. Avoid my mistake & get the deluxe on sale.

The Gaunts are direct ancestors to Voldemort, his mother was a Gaunt. Also the DADA position wasn't cursed by Tom until the 1940's when he was rejected from the teaching position so there shouldn't be a new DADA teacher each year.

My understanding of "ancient magic" so far is that its mostly protective in nature. A lock on the portkey container. A lock for a private grigots entrance. Those golem puzzle's seem lime a defence mechanism. Also the portkey container was made of some form of goblin steel, maybe "ancient magic" is a form of goblin enchantive magic? Worked into their steel?
