@@slickspidey I think the OP assumes what many of us do, and figures the combat shown was made deliberately slow so we could see the basics of how it functions without having to watch a massive light show as spells are flung from all sides. The combat may very well be plodding and unfun to actually engage in, but hopefully it isn't. Plus, it does look like the player character is truly a duelist.

There is a lot to take in, and a lot to experience, and a lot to explore with this world with it being a prequel to the Potter Saga.

I'm really excited for this game. I absolutely live for games where I can make my own character the way I want and explore a huge world, it's so fun! I can't wait to actually explore everything and to be put into one of the 4 houses too?? like that's crazy, this is everything anyone could want in a harry potter game. AND TO HAVE OUR CHARACTER TALK AND INTERACT WITH OTHERS AND FLY ON A BROOM? beautiful, everything about this is beautiful and it looks amazing

Be prepared, Elden Ring is an incredibly difficult game. And when I say incredibly, I mean incredibly. Not as hard as Dark Souls or Bloodborne, but definitely not for the faint of heart or just casual gamers.

I’ve been waiting for so long. As a HUGE fan of Harry Potter and the Wizarding World itself I can’t express how hyped I am for this to drop. And it’s dropping THIS YEAR. Since they say holiday. I’m assuming most likely the month of December. This game looks amazing and stunning. This is a dream come true!
