What I want to see in Hogwarts Legacy: More spells/potions (including the ability to give others potions/items), more NPC dialogue and interaction outside of quests, the ability to buy joke shop items and unique food with the former being used to prank people or oneself and the latter as a stat boost or just for something unique to eat, and the ability to sell pets/their resources/other items not just clothes in our shop.

@@enkidumag It's a great game, but the replay value is non-existent, like there's so much potential in the game but there's no replay value, there's no way to skip the introductory/tutorial parts, and you can't change seasons or have more interactions with NPCs, those are my main issues.

It's such a ridiculous update that it gives me chills, it's surreal how much potential was wasted in this game... I bought it and I didn't regret it but I will never invest in this company again. You can't even play with a language separate from the subtitle language, absurdly simple things that they don't have the capacity to do... in addition to being linked to Sony, which always insists on eliteizing games in an idiotic way.

I don't understand why so many large publishers and studios are afraid of transparency. If more developers were transparent with their communities, we wouldn't have nearly the number of cases where players are upset over being "ignored." Just explain why implementing seasons and sitting isn't feasible. Explain why even if it's possible, it isn't worth the resources.

Playstation quest FINALLY available, probably the only part I really care about. Giving everyone the Onyx Gryffin, one of the reasons people pre-ordered in the first place. Yea, I'm sure people are totally thrilled with that. This update we waited months for is extremely lackluster with practically no new content at all. More than disappointing.

No, it doesn’t have to be winter. You just have to be at or past the point winter was experienced, so if you’ve beaten the game you should be able to do the quest after the update.

Quick question... Muy broom doesnt fly propperly on the circuits(its wobblyevery now and the while flying, and the speed is wonky, so not always matching the speed im going at).... Is It because of the broom type or is It something else?

I'm very happy with it, of course it could have been more but ok, at least this great game is getting something. I hope you put all the great ideas from the community into the sequel. Changing the seasons after completing the game, more interactions in the Great Hall & Common Room, house points, companion system, optional school lessons for more role-playing opportunities and of course: mini-games like Wizard's Chess & Quidditch. Too little too late. These are features we should have gotten in the first months of the game. I platinumed the game a LONG time ago, completed the entire game for each house including all collectibles, and uninstalled/moved on. With this much time to cook and so little content from the developers to show for it, I hope for their sake that they are hard at work on the next hogwarts game. I love the playing in and around the hogwarts castle but I need more content to go back at this point. I already had these exclusives and don't care about photo mode so there's nothing here for me. Here's hoping we get some announcements soon about the next game.. and hopefully this time they will plan a dlc schedule of content after launch to keep us around because single player games die fast without it.

@@ked49 Notice I focused on the features, not the dlc beyond just saying i'd experienced it already. Photo mode should have been a thing a LONG time ago. Same with talent point resets. Those are super basic features that shouldn't take 16 months beyond release to implement. People still seeing a ton of ray tracing issues on some objects.. there's still the moth not spawning bug too. So again, I hope for their sake that they are hard at work on the next hogwarts game because they sure haven't been putting much time into the current game if this is all they have to show for it. They worked hard in the first few months to stabilize the game enough and then seemingly never touched it again.

Can you explain why I crash when doing the most simplest tasks, like roll dodging, pulling flying books from the air in hogsheads, and can't complete the troll attack because I can't dodge the opening attack. I've restarted my PS5 4 times as the game also crashed 6 times when using revelio in Hogsmeade.

Photo mode sounds good but when can we get a gameplay update where there's a consequence system introduced? Say you're sneaking around the castle at night and you get caught. You get sent back to your dorm and maybe you get detention. Or an update where we can use the beds to sleep at night and change the day/night cycle?

The onyx skin was just for pre-ordering. No one paid "extra" for it. At least I didn't anyways.

@@amyjones25 The point is people paid up front for (and I quote) "exclusive" content. I have no problem if they lied and it is not exclusive, just make *_all_* exclusive content either _genuinely exclusive_ or make it *_all_* free to everyone. Those who paid for the dark arts set and the kelpie robes also got the onyx skin but they still have exclusive items while those who got the basic edition in pre order now have nothing exclusive for choosing to do so. To be honest, I dislike the idea of any content being exclusive or locked behind a paywall or timeframe, but if they are going to do it at all they better be honest about keeping it that way.

HYPED? Why? It's just minor things. Not that it's bad but it isn't amazing either. They could have added New Game+ or let us change seasons after finishing the game and sidequests. But HYPED?! 🤦‍♂💀

"Sitting" only in Photomode... Really??? Can we Fans be so misunderstood or is it just some sarcastic move of the Studio??? when you create to make us sit than why not in the normal Game??? sorry, but: is this really everything possible for such successful Game???

Honestly, some people in here are disgusting me. In 2023 you got a huge, FINISHED game, full fan service, with NO DLC/MICROTRANSACTIONS ripoff strategy, with almost no bugs and you‘re complaining about a FREE update to this.

But it genuinely feels like a troll that they put changing seasons and sitting in the photo mode. They knew perfectly well we wanted those incorporated into the gameplay. The rest is just fluff as far as I'm concerned.

I was completely satisfied with Hogwarts Legacy, it was my game of the year for 2023 and one of the few games I'd give a 10/10 to (if you disagree then whatever, not interested in debating that). Also, I didn't at all expect an expansion and I was ok with not getting one. I did, however, want a New Game+ because, come on, you have to admit that a New Game+ is a standard feature that should have been present at release, let alone released for this update.

I have been playing on a RTX 4090 at 4K and at a locked 120fps. My performance has been fine since release.

@@Mitch93636 I have a 4090 too. There is stuttering galore. And you wont get 120fps without DLSS on balanced.

Heyo, love the updates! I'm going to go ahead and leave an idea of something I would love... in the hope that it might sound good to someone else as well. The game has a lot of beautiful, readable stuff: known enemies, letters, magical creatures info, etc. The game also has amazingly beautiful and cozy couches. Chairs. Armchairs in front of blazing fireplaces. Small tables with tea on them. You get the picture. Why not make a "Reading Mode"? So instead of not being able to sit by the fire, or on your favorite chair in the Room of Requirement; and instead of reading your books, or inspecting your magical objects, directly from the Menu: Maybe our characters could sit down, whip out their letters, books, or magical objects, and enter a "Reading Mode"; where we would be able to inspect, read, (or pretend to read while dozing off) our stuff, whilst sitting and watching the fire out of the corner of their (our) eye. I can imagine this would be a challenge to develop. But it would be a game changer for me. Love it all the same, so far!

I am SO pumped! I have this massive document named "what I wish HL had" and I'm so excited! I'm 100%'d the game almost twice now... It always seemed wack that they created this beautiful world and you could only screenshot, so photos is so cool! I'm waiting for quidditch and a better potions process and more things on my list, but now I can take so many photos and I now need to replay to get better versions of the screenshots I already have, I REALLY wish you could have more than 4 characters cos deleting one of my 200+hr games is gonna be PAINFUL
