What??? HL had the smallest map size. It didnt feel that way at all . castle itself is so vast

It is fairly small compared to other Open World RPG games, take a look at Assassin's Creed Odyssey for example, it's literally the entirety of Greece, it took me more than 3 months to explore everything, I couldn't say much about other Open World RPG games since I don't play them much, but it is small *if compared* to other games, but overall the map size is big enough

@@BenjaminSnow Gwent is a collectable mini card game in The Witcher 3, not everone's cup of tea but real good if you like strategy, sort of a running joke with Witcher players, once you play you'll get it.

While Hogwarts Legacy is a good game (7-8/10) and was worth the wait, it simply cannot hold a candle to any of the games you mentioned in this video.

Elden Ring has one of the smallest maps among the games in your video (less than 20 km2). Transmog(swapping the looks of equipment) is already common in modern AAA and Live service games. Not every game, RPG or open world RPG has the repetitive elements you mentioned like 'camps'. You seemed to try and create connections where there weren't really any. Your sample for 'open world RPGs' appears to be very limited.

wrong. ER's map is 79 km2 (30.5 square miles ) which is double the size of skyrim. Idk where you get you "facts" from

@@r17v1 Where's that 79 km2 figure come from? I measured it myself. I've seen similar numbers from others who've measured it. The playable area is under 20 km2. The total area (most unplayable or Ocean) is larger.
