As much as I enjoyed playing hogwarts legacy, the Witcher still remains the best by far in my opinion

Personally, I can't wait for the next witcher series. My only concern is that "The Witcher" is too much related to the character of Geralt and that it may not work with another protagonist. I will definitely miss The Butcher of Blaviken.

There is no comparison, as much as i liked Hogwarts Legacy coz of wizarding world that im a fan of, implementation of hogwart castle, fantastic beasts and fly mechanics, both its story and open world is soo GARBAGE compared to the Witcher. Absolutely zero important choices, overall bland characters (only sebastian quest was kinda good), every single open world activity repetitive, awful loot system, fights also geting very repetitive with pretty much no builds in the game. I loved Hogwarts Legacy at the begining but its story and ubisoft open world was geting so boring so fast that i was barely able to finish it, and the ending was also only dissapointment. The writing, main character, side quests, main quests, ending, all vastly superior in W3. Even combat is better coz there is actually some build diversity and a LOT of different enemies to fight (in hogwarts its copy paste wizards, spiders, goblins, trolls, wolfs, frogs and.. thats ALL xD literally just 6 enemy types) Witcher 3 is still one of THE best games ever made (replayed a huge part of it lately after the patch and its still so good). And im not even counting the W3 DLCs, which are better then hogwarts legacy ON THEIR OWN. Despite its sales Hogwarts Legacy is not Elden Ring, Nor Witcher 3 level of GOTY, there are some things they made very well, but overall the open world experience gets boring and tedious veery fast. The gameplay is not there to keep you entertained, the story is certainly not there also.
