Hi, great review! Have you ever tried to film with the phone horizontally attached to this gimbal, when wireless mic receiver attached to it? Or may be mic receiver attached to phone from one side and lens or ND filter on the other? Could the gimbal stand this load and to work correctly and smooth ?

Hi, I recently purchased a Hohem iSteady 7 gimbal, and it is only three weeks old. I have used it three times so far, but I am now experiencing a problem. The joystick on the remote is not functioning, meaning it does not move the phone up, down, or sideways. Additionally, the trigger on the handle is unresponsive. I have tried basic troubleshooting steps, but the issue persists. Could you please provide assistance or guidance on how to resolve this? One of my biggest concerns is attaching my rode mic mini to the iPhone 16pro while on gimbal. Looks like it won’t fit ?? Or any usb accessory directly to phone ??

Yes phone do really well these days. Gimbals can really help in certain scenarios and for more cinematic style shooting.

Hi, they sent me here to ask for help, hopefully you can point me in the right direction. I was looking for a gimbal for a Samsung s24 Ultra, but I'm a bit of a privacy guy, so they tell me the Osmo Mobile 6 requires an app, and even worse a DJI account, to function correctly. Furthermore, they say it's limited to the 10x zoom, while I use my phone for plane spotting up to 100x . So could you suggest me an alternative with the same stabilization performance (and zoom wheel on the handle), that works without additional apps? Thanks.

@@chris Pros: ai tracking does not require the app, holds larger phones and more weight, lockable axis, remote control with screen. Cons: size, weight, built in tripod. NFC connect.
