I can explain how DC Took New Jersey. They have a focus called "Take Delaware and New Jersey" where both states have a choice to either become states again (annexed by DC immediately) or fight to remain independent. Pennsylvania is quite the playthrough, I recommend it to anyone. Totally not showing home state bias

I’ve spent the overwhelming majority of my life in NYS. They should give Westchester to the NYC region and Yonkers should be moved to its actual location instead of being where Rye is. Down to help the mod authors come up with some ideas for the NYS focus tree but I can’t code.
