Good breakdown of the different types of Hoka running shoes, I feel like I understand them better now. They ought to hire you, I was on their website a few days ago to shop & was utterly confused with the shoe models, some seemingly having the same features!

Love this. I would just add that I have heard the supersonic is not actually a continuation of the Mach 4, so Mach 4 will stay. Also have heard the supersonic is actually stiffer, which people have not liked.

I would love a video comparing Hoka and Brooks shoes. I love the softness of the Hoka shoes, but I love the tops construction of the Brooks. Also, Brooks doesn't have wides in all of their models of shoes. As a person that needs a 4E width, it limits what I can choose from. The Hokas heel padding doesn't last long at all. I blow out the heel in about 4 months. Hoka replaced the first pair I sent back because of it, but it happened again to the replacement they sent me and they wont replace it.

@@RUNFAQ Hi, Update on my Clifton 8.My condition: male, 34y.o, weight 68kg, height 173cm. 2 years ago went through left hip surgery. When walking feeling still some discomfort and light pain. Every morning left hip stiffness. So after sometime ( around 1 y) started running. First I got On (swiss engineering) running shoes. Conclusion: bad, very bad. Looks very good, fancy and not cheap. Maybe good for normal or experienced runners but not definitely persons like me with my condition.I run 2-3 times a week. After 1 week my right knee started hurting. Eventually i couldnt simply walk. Left hip problem and right knee problem. Of course I thought my running technique not correct and my right knee receiving a lot of pressure. So i stopped running and started just walking. After sometime got my 2nd running shoes from Brooks (levitate2). Amazing running shoes. Bouncy and flat platform. Heavier than On, but for me On is trash comparatively Brooks. No pain in right knee. Recently got my 3rd running shoes from Hoka (Clifton 8). Conclusion: definitely better than On but still doesnt bit Brooks.Probably had to got Bondi or Gaviota with more cushioning. Wanted the same level like Brooks levitate 2 (like entry level, with average characteristics.Good side: lighter than Brooks. Might be good for duck like feet (wide width). Bad side: feels like plastic, level of ball of the foot is too low, heel side ok. Which is why when running you will definitely feel earth surface with your toe part and feels like you are wearing a little bit women shoes with heel. Overall not for me. Bondi might be better, i dont know. So i will remove Clifton 8 wearing on daily bases like i did with my On. For running Ill keep my Brooks and buy another one. I need research on next one. Thanks and good luck for everyone !

When the cheaply made HOKA innersole in my running shoes flattened out I have a diminished or no foot comfort which I expected. I figured HOKA to have replacements but they do not. I tried to use other commercially available inner soles and risked losing my toenails from the friction against the interior roof of the toe box. This negative experience with HOKA has been a painful teacher.

hoka got unmatched lightweight foams and cushioning compared to products of similar price range. But what i dont like is their outsole that wears out faster than other brands probably due to cheaper foam used. Wish they add some rubber to the outsole but it seems like outsole isn't what they prioritize.

I got the Arahi 6 from the support section. I don't care about speed. I am bodybuildimg and since I overpronate some excersises gets influenced alot since I loose my balance. Exmple: Walking Lunges with weights. I focus more on weight training and I hope this shoe will keep my foot from over pronation. I hate my feet for doing this over pronation. I am 6'1 (185CM) and my weight is 103KG.
