This 2K is the first 2K I've played in about 3 years, and it's one of the worst I've ever played. People are allowed to screen cancel cheese, and for some reason your defenders just do not know how to play it. Ever. Players phase through other players. The physics are horrendous. The amount of moving screens I see are ridiculous. People setting pick and roll offenses from half court. Then the follow man is given an automatic pass to the basket. People are allowed to pass it even if the lane is clogged and not lose possession, Stealing the ball while playing the correct angle on the lane is impossible damn near.

As a “PlayStation fan” I can attest that still play my ps4 without a real want or need to upgrade lol. With the amount of free and cheap games you could buy or were given from psn plus, idk who had the time to play all the good games that was released on the console within its 5 year lifespan unless you’re content creator. I had school, I had a social life, I had work. Would be dumb to upgrade just to upgrade when I got 50+ unplayed games in the library. With that said, I definitely understand that at this point, can’t expect new releases to be cross gen, they shouldn’t be honestly.

The ps4 version is only like 90gb but it runs like shit on the ps5 so we play it on the ps4 cause it runs better. I blame Activision because they decided to make all cods in one game. 18:07 to your earlier point about casual gamers, most of them migrated to ps4 during that generation because xbox stopped releasing compelling exclusive and core/ hardcore gamers convinced their friends to jump ship. Additionally sony had a long marketing run with call of duty to associate their brands and capture those casual gamers. Those people are not the ones championing playstation or buying ps5s. They are the quite majority, or least common denominators and they used to be more evenly distributed across the platforms. Im pretty sure if call of duty announced they were dropping last gen hardware we’d see a huge spike in current gen hardware sales because those people buy anual releases for their favorite franchises every year no matter the quality because “its easy and theyre used to it”. You see the same thing with iphones. You are not a casual gamer, youre a core gamer and thats the audience that wants new fresh titles but core gamers make up less than half the market so until the vast majority shows theyre willing to pay for better and refuse to pay for less, we will remain caught between generations and meaningful progress. Aside from that, the economy has been the worst my parents have ever seen it in our lifetimes since the launch of this generation so its also no wonder people are being more reserved with big purchases. But i guess the playstation fans have annoyed you for being happy with a company that has objectively offered the most memorable games in the last decade. Sometimes haters gotta hate on winners but i can agree that sony needs to figure out a better way to manage player satisfaction and excitement in the future because their formula is definitely starting to stale in many areas with some real gems being unfortunate casualties of this unstable market.

Idk maybe console doesnt really experience it but I havent came across cheating at least not visibly. Main reason I dont play free pc games is to avoid the cheaters but to me the game just a chill game to play. Ill say the only thing to me is after like an hour or two I switch games just cuz I want to play something else with my limited time, just because it feels like nothing to grind for at the moment. And Im not some god tier player but i get like 25+ kills a game and typically at the top of the leaderboards (mainly cuz I play objective). I hate Ubisoft practices but I enjoy this game a bit. I play cod with my friends when we have a stack and I hop on this when I wanna just play and listen to music. The hit reg def needs work on for sure but I be seeing people miss too many of their shots. We need more casual fps games in the market, I hope people stop comparing everyone that comes out to cod.
