HOKA Top Trails - Eugene, OR

The second stop of the HOKA Top Trails series takes us to Eugene, Oregon. This is the unofficial Track and Field Capital of the world, and there are many tributes to running legend Steve "Pre" Prefontaine.
Ian Terpin and Matt Barnhart show us around Wild Duck, the best place to grab a cold beer after a running event. HOKA Athlete Charlotte Browning takes us on a tour of the Ridgeline Trail, containing 12 miles of trail starting at seven main trailheads (running all the way to Spencer Butte). Eugene Running Company owner Bob Coll explains the initiative behind the connecting running trails through Eugene and why it makes it a paradise for runners of every level. The internationally renown running coach Peter Thompson explains the widespread appeal of Pre's Trail to elite athletes and high-level training.

Sorry Charlotte but you need to see more of home, the SDW and NDW both in the South East corner, or the flattest part, both have over 100 mile trails and races upon them host qualifying races for UTMB. You don't get that on flat, non text trails.

It's called track town usa for a reason if you love running its a great place to be. I don't live in Eugene but live about an hour away so its a reasonable weekend trip to go for a beautiful run

Only problem is the infestation of poeple who choose to live in our parks rather than be productive members of society. The leadership of Eugene rufuses to face this issue and doesn't deserve the positions they have been elected for.

as if them 2 runners going past wasn't set up . also England /uk has many great trail runs and mountain runs , also great coastal trail runs

Andrew Smith it wasn't set up. Those guys arnt even Hoka athletes there is no way they would have agreed to do that
