Hoke: The making of an accelerant detection dog

At the Penn Vet Working Dog Center, puppies, donated or from our breeding program (Hoke was donated by Southland Kennels) begin foundational training at 8 weeks of age. As they mature, we identify career paths that suit them. Their training includes odor detection, but also agility, environmental exposure, fitness and obedience.
