Kinda MMA with Gi and no head strikes - kicks allowed.

Hokutoryu is a form developed by Auvo Niiniketo for actual combat. It wasn't really designed for sport but rather for actual use in the field. I used to study it when I lived in Finland. Hard to find a teacher here in western Canada, though :)

@@pasimurto6253 Have they changed it? I haven't had the chance to study Hokutoryu since about 1998 but it most definitely included head strikes then. Maybe not in competition, though.

@@poodlefluids practicing techniques sure include head strikes but in competition not a,lowed.
