82-17-7; (9-1 over the last ten games) is one of the most lopsided rivalries in college football. Still the last few have been decent as OSU is really coming into their own in the conference.

Yeah, I agree with that to an extent. It's odd: everyone was nervous about our receiving core, and that ended up being one of our strengths. Our secondary is alright, and Colvin may have even found his niche with blitzing from the side. But our defensive line is really having a hard time pressing and I'll bet that's why we saw Colvin come in so much. Add that to the fact that our linebackers are nowhere near as productive as they have been in the past, save Wort who is thankfully a Junior.

people always hate on Jones, but he never had the lines that Bradford and white had. Those lines had nfl picks all over them. plus he's 3-0 as a starter vs Texas and in bowl games! I'll miss him when he's gone.

I guess that's a positive way to look at it. Better to keep it close and clinch it late than it be like last year where OU got into HUGE holes and then tried to come back but just couldn't make up the ground.

It should never have been this close. If OU is ever to return to a national championship, they need a dependable, solidly consistant defense that doesn't get gouged so badly by the pass and draw plays. I still believe in Mike Stoops, I know he is a great defensive mind, but OU's defensive players are either just not good enough to play their positions, or they are not enthused enough to execute. Either way, there's no excuse. Hope we can hold the wheels on for the last game.

As an OSU fan, y'all deserved to win. Our defense.......i'm not even gonna call it defense cus that's not what I saw. Normally i'd say "Oh, we're in Stillwater next year so we'll win" If our D plays like that, we'll never win again. The Weeden and Blackmon combo will never come to us again. We can't play Offense only anymore. We have a new Coordinator so hopefully we'll be better.

I'm not dismissing his abysmal record, but I do think he ranks among the elite of college coaches. he just needs to shake things up, which he did in this off season by firing three position coaches.

People put too much weight on bowl games. So I guess people now-a-days would tell Bear Bryant, with an 0-7-1 bowl record in the 70's, he should be fired? Oh he reeled off a few NCs after that. What about Tom Osborne? He had an 8 bowl game losing streak before winning 3 NC in a 4 year stretch. College football is a streaky sport. OU has fared better than just about every program with pretty much only the 1990s being a down period.

this rivalry isn't like the 2000s anymore where OU blows OK State out of the water in Norman. These days OK State comes to play. Look at the way the past 2 Bedlams have gone in Norman (2012 and 2014)
