Estaba: 1) No hay periodo La casa estaba en las montañas. 2) Eventos/Periodos con interrupción La fiesta estaba divertida hasta que se fue Juan. 3) Personas - Rutinas, emociones/ubicación/estado y comparación con el pasado En 2018, Ana estaba en Madrid. Estaba soltera y estudiaba mucho. Estuvo: 1) Hay un periodo La casa estuvo abandonada por 10 años. 2) Eventos/periodos específicos La fiesta estuvo perfecta. 3) Personas - acciones con Tiempo Específico Ana estuvo en Madrid hace 2 años. Just found this channel about a week ago. It's the best grammar explanation video I have seen so far. I plan to watch all your other videos in time. Let me introduce myself, so you know my qualifications for my opinions. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from BYU, where nearly all language students in higher classes are either from a foreign country,, or lived in a foreign country and had to speak the language. I graduated 49 years ago, but have spent the following years trying not to forget what I had learned, and learn more. I helped farmer friends iron out details with their Mexican labor contractors, I taught English as a Second Language at the community college (which included Russians and Viet Namese). I made myself study grammar workbooks. I taught Spanish classes in secondary and nighttime schools. Finally I went to work for a federal agency where I spoke, read, wrote, and translated Spanish every day for 20 years. Since I retired I am still trying not to forget, and to learn more Spanish. I have traveled to Mexico many times, and also to Guatemala and Spain. This video is really well done and this channel is definitely one of the best on KZbin

Una pequeña corrección, sujeto significa una persona, o en una oración la estructura que va separada del predicado como en inglés 'subject'. Yo habia acabado de usar era en vez de fue cuando tu apareciste con tu clase, ensenando la deferencia entre las dos palabras. Agreed. Using the same examples in both videos, without comment, has caused confusion. ¿La fiesta estuvo divertida o la fiesta fue divertida? ¿Cuál es la correcta? Y si ambas, ¿por qué?
