Why is Holbox an island perfect for relaxation in our opinion? Because nothing is chasing here, nobody is in a hurry, and there is nowhere to go.

The island is small and fortunately there are still no wild crowds. You can find a wild beach for yourself or a public place and relax with others. Importantly, in silence because everyone respects it.
Holbox is located in the north of the Yucatan Peninsula and is actually a group of three islands. There are no paved roads on it, it moves by quads, by bike or on foot. You will find a convenient place for you everywhere, lots of good food, but the best pubs are often crowded.
In our opinion, this is a better place to chill than the popular Tulum, so we highly recommend - you fly to the Yucatan - visit Holbox.
