HOLD ME IN YOUR ARMS TONIGHT is a song for these needed times. A love song first and foremost on a personal level, but also a song that in a bigger sense is about a longing for comfort, peace and safety.
In a time of uncertainty and with wars close upon us both children, women and men find themselves in dire straits and in need of someone to hold or to be embraced.
The lyrics are initially about an all-consuming love on a personal level, but it also embodies a description of searching and the need for closeness and care in a larger universal context.
HOLD ME IN YOUR ARMS TONIGHT is a song on a very personal level for the writers Jostein Forsberg and Morten Omlid. The words and the guitar lines are theirs from the inside to the outside and from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. That is why Omlid and Forsberg, although obviously not experienced film producers, chose to make the video to the songs themselves. Filming and editing.
The filming was done in various scenic settings in their hometown of Notodden, where Omlid and Forsberg grew up together and have been living all their lives.
