yeah :( i feel like its kind of gon's fault. from the beginning they traveled the world together and shared the same goal: finding gon's dad. when they played the dodgeball with Razor, gon said "only killua can do it," basically saying that they will always share their successes and burdens with each other because they are best friends. And even at the end of the greed island arc, gon says "naturally, i'll introduce ging to killua, my best friend in the whole world!" but... he and killua parted ways just before Gon had the talk with Ging on the tree :c and when Gon and Killua were approaching Pitou who was healing komugi, gon said "U have it easy killua. You're perfectly calm, since this has nothing to do with you," stating that gon wants to fulfill this goal of avenging Kite by himself. he basically told Killua that he no longer wants to share their successes anymore and do it together :( its so sad and poor killua still ran after Gon even after he basically rejected killua. if killua had helped, maybe gon wouldn't have lost everything in the fight with Pitou.

I'm having a mental breakdown now. This video hits hard, when it said "Hold on I still need you" it reminded me about how at the end Gon and Killua smiled when the said goodbye to eachother but when they turned around, they stopped smiling. "I will portect you. Because we're friends. Because... Your my best friend." When killua screamed GON I was still in tears this is so sad. And the "hold on I still need you" reminded me again, I finished hxh today and Im thinking of how happy hxh made me, I laughed and cried I need hxh.
