Did most of them with Kuribayashi Messe and some Asian Silver tier artillery general. Improvising or sometimes reckless is helpful lol. Vatutin and Guderian helped ton to push it to last one I came for here.

I just got a hacked version, the later missions are 100% impossible without commanders. But be sure to buy the game first so you can support them.

my strategy is to buy the Italian general Messe and upgrade his rumor to level 5 (yes I did not spend a single dollar to buy metals) So every time an enemy attacks me, there is a 75 percent chance they will have lower morale. Whenever I encounter those super good generals, I just try to surround them and let Messe attack several times till the enemy general loses all morale. But sometimes even this is not sufficient. I feel like having one good general is just not enough. I don't want to buy those infantry generals cuz good armor units can absolutely slaughter those infantry units. I am considering Charles De Gaule now cuz he also has a rumor and I feel like artillery can be quite good if u command them well. But the thing is, Charles De Gaule is fucking expensive. I only have 49 metals now and he costs like 1200 metals. So yeah, I am pretty much stuck with Messe and I am struggling to clear the last allied 1939 mission.
