The plan is actually works if G2 isn't so stupid. BrokenBlade has to stay clear top wave and defend the base with Mikyx. There is no reason BB should go out and join Baron. Late game Draven and fed Viego are plenty enough to kill purple worm while other T1 still dead for another 30s.

I don't think G2 had a timer on Faker's TP, as seen when Mikyx was moving to the bot lane jungle to ward for Faker's potential backdoor. And they needed BB to rush down Baron. It's not really BB's fault, it's the whole team for not realizing that Faker had TP. They assumed Faker had no TP cause he didn't TP immediately when he respawned while some of his team is still alive.

I think even if they stayed at their base to defence, the outcome of the game would not have changed. T1 gonna rush for 3r right after they came back from death. g2 had no way to challenge. The only option for g2 was to rush 3r before t1 came back. They did exactly that. However, their base was too low and faker took the advantage.
