Interesting that you have Ody start to string the bow and gather the arrows at the beginning. Most animatics have him string it at the end after Antinous and suitors said what they would to do Telemachus and Penelope. But here he already has the bow strung and ready. It makes me think of 2 scenarios. One is that regardless if Antinous and the suitors said all of that or not, he still was going to kill them, but them saying all that stuff just gave him more conviction in slaughtering them. The second one is that he was planning to just complete the challenge Penelope had put right then and there, but what Antinous and the suitors said made him change his mind to killing Antinous and all the suitors. Also damn! You went all the way with the Telemachus part, usually people will just allude to the dismemberment, but in this one you actually showed the severed head.

I love, that you wanted to show Odysseus among the suitor. In every other video he shows up out of nowhere and here we can see his reactions to all the threats. It looks amazing!

I LOVE THIS! the cutting the throat scene gave me chills. And the Penelope part, altering between her and Odysseus and the suitors somehow made the whole scene x10 more terrifying. I love how the axes were aligned with the throne (my head canon is that Penelope purposely did it that way in the challenge so if the suitors had been able to actually string the bow and shoot, the arrow would hit her while she was sitting on the throne- bc yk, she said cause i'll rather die than live in a world without the best of you) and that Ody proved he was the one and only king by stringing the bow and shooting through the 12 axes cleanly (with the plus of killing Antinous). Also, Penelope showing off her spartan blood by grabbing a dagger and being like I ain't going down without a fight b!tch Ody slowly getting angrier the more the suitors plan as a side treat was so good. Love how you showed his reactions

I've been looking for an animatic that drew it like this for SO LONG. Most of them only show Odysseus at the end but it's so much more chilling seeing him get more and more enraged by their plans. Incredible job 👌✨

This is insanely detailed!!! how graphic telemachus's part is actually shocked me and with Antinous at part 2:02, then Odysseus's POV when Antinous is talking about Penelope, the way the memories flash and then cuts to the visual of his wife SA'd and also Penelope's weddings ring off her. This is honestly my favorite animatic, it just hits so different than all the other. New sub with all notifs on!

TELEMACHUS MY BABY BOY NOOO!!! I didn't expect you to go that hard, most artists just imply the violence against Penelope and Telemachus. This was chilling but in an awesome way. It made me hate Antinous even more and long to see him die so much sooner! 🩸🔪 And how one of the suitors notices Odysseus's scar on his leg was "chef's kiss"👌 Terrific and terrifying job!

many animatics prefer to use symbolism when depicting penelopes assault, to great effect, others stick to the characters faces and reactiosn, i think this is the first one ive seen that (while still withing community guidelines) is the only one directly portray the assault, for that i commend you, cant have been easy, but the risk and work was wirth it, youve made one of the best animatics out there. This is haunting in a way only reality can be.

Omg the part where Antinous explains his plan of what he's going to do to Penelope, I always imagine Odysseus looking horrified for a few seconds and then immediately pissed off as he continues with his plan...this is basically how I imagined would happen when he realizes what their plan was...and I also love how Odysseus reacts when they talk about how they planned to murder Telemachus. He had a look of "oh...oh SHIT!" so yea this was amazing!
