A cammed vf ls3 should be making minimum 450hp but its only making 400hp....

Depends on the cam. The VCM532 is a street cam. Gives less power at the top end but better performance lower down the rev range.

Such a wimpy cam for an LS3. These guys at vcm don't know what they are doing. You can get a much larger camshaft in the 220's duration to drive well with no high stall needed and make about 320-330rwkw. Poor camshaft selection. A 224/232 113lsa would be so much better...

It's not all about top end power. Street cams like this one give better performance lower down the rev range where these cars generally tend to sit when they are daily driven - at least with stock diff's.

Lsx tuneing told me vcm cams are made by camtech. And recomended me not to put one in due to valvetrain noise vcm cams produce. Anyone?

This is power @ the wheels. standard VF2 SSV Redline only puts out 242KW @ the wheels. They went to 301KW @ the wheels, that's an increase of 59KW not 10KW
