In part two of this Shropshire rail exploration I discover the former quarry and passenger line from Nantmawr down to Llanymynech. The highlight is the fantastic level crossing near to Nantmawr.

This guy is sadly missed. He put so much time and effort into making these blogs. He died suddenly and much too early. R.I.P. Holden. 🚂🚴‍♂️👣🇺🇦

Your video is made all the more interesting and understandable by the maps - O.S. etc. Thank you. I wish all those making Disused Railway videos did like-wise! Keep it up.

Hi Holden. I love watching your videos, really professionaly done and very informative. I take my hat off to your camera man. Looking forward to watching you again, maybe without the trademark shades lol. Keep up the good work.

I really enjoy these videos, they are very interesting and informative and actually great, however I was a little disappointed that you didn't visit the Carreghofa halt on this line as there is still some things left of the railway and a couple of bridges left

Holden, Very enjoyable videos - you may be interested in these details www.disused-stations.org.uk/features/nantmawr_junction/index.shtml of the route the Nantmawr branch took into Llanymynech station after joining the rerouted Llanfyllin branch and going under the aqueduct.

Hi, my son and I watch your track bed walks. we live in Kent. Have you heard of the approval for extention of the East Kent Sussex Railway from Bodiam to Robertsbridge in Sussex over the main A21. The other direction there must be disused track bed walk as well part of the old mainline. Have you done any walks in Southern England?

Thanks for your nice comment. Not got to Southern England much for rail exploration, but I have relations in Kent, so one day yes. In 2015 I went to the railway tunnel in Broadstairs; fascinating to see the whole tunnel network which was built under the town off the railway line during the war
