I love that they didn't make a big thing about P.C. crying. There was no anxiety or trying to fix it. They let him grieve, let him have space, and we're glad to have him back. Love it.

She is really glad she is in a safe place and that her triggers are less frequent and more manageable there too. It is always good to love and be loved. Thank you for not taking the advice to put Ruby down. Dogs are not merely animals. They have personalities just like kids. Sometimes you can change your life for the dog. Other times it is best to change the environment. If she was a safety risk for the family, she needed a different environment. I hope she is doing well where she is. One day I hope you are able to find the perfect pooch match for the family. I work for an animal sanctuary and we rescue from shelters. We hear these stories ftrequently. I am glad Ruby didn't end up in a shelter

I understand the dog troubles Penn Charles, I have a really sweet dog who we've been trying to train for about three years now. She is a sweetheart with humans, but she goes insane with other dogs. She tries to hurt them, and she's bitten my mom dad and I a couple times before. We tried training, but it's really difficult to train a dog who we don't know anything about. She was a rescue from Puerto Rico, and because of all the paperwork messups, we thought she was good with dogs because she had been in a foster home with other dogs. They also said our beagle rat terrier mutt was a lab-Shepard mix. She most certainly is not. But we've been adjusting to this, and we've been able to get her used to a few neighbor dogs. Slowly but surely, we've decided what to do. For the moment she's still ours, but we all know we need to find her a new home soon. One with lots of space for her to play with her new family, and no more neighbor dogs. We'll miss you Jingle, but we know it's best for you. And hey, maybe we'll both find a new family dog. They won't replace Ruby or Jingle, but they'll still love to lick our faces and keep us company

I've loved catching up on all your videos....my Covid addiction is KZbin... and I had wondered what happened to Ruby. It broke my heart to watch Penn Charles. I know how hard it is to deal with a dog that just doesn't fit. I did it for 16 years and you're right...it was a full time job. I often wonder if I would have been better off finding a new home for her. I thought that after she crossed the bridge, we'd be done with dogs but a week later my daughter moved home with her dog and we just kept acquiring them. We've ended up with mostly Golden Retrievers and thankfully we have dogs that all get along. Give Sunny hugs.

Well *I* have subscribed! I've never seen "Christmas Jammies". My brother just tagged me to watch your innovative Hallmark Movie spoof "Christmas For Christmas" (I write a LOT of goofy songs and was inspired after realizing how all those Hallmarkian drama movies that feature stars over 50 years old use the same kind of "almost country" music to write an original song called "Broken Christmas Star"). I saw you and said, "Hey. I've seen a video from them before. They crack me down." Found ya on KZbin and I plan to binge on your vlogs and videos! Thanks for the comic relief. :-) Be well!

Nice to finally know your net worth 😂😂. So Sorry to hear about your Ruby. So heartbreaking. My girlfriend got a doodle from a puppy 3 years ago. It grew and became more aggressive as time went on for absolutely no reason. They did the trainer thing too. Sadly the dog was broken mentally and couldn’t be trusted. He was given back to the breeder where it cornered her 4 year old daughter and had to be put down. I am thankful that Ruby never went after your family and you definitely did the right thing letting her go. Hugs.

I had no idea they no longer have "normal jobs", that makes me very happy, because I can safely look forward to these great videos continuing! Also, the question about the beginnings.. so modest "a lot of views" on the Christmas jammies.. yeah.. 17 million! I actually only discovered them recently looking for C-19 parodies (hands down, they win that category! End of the roll is epic) I subbed, so like always, I go to the channel video list, to the very beginning to see where it started, saw the jammies one, and the number of views on it, and smiled, thinking if anyone deserves overnight success, it's this wonderful family :) Oh and just realized this is a second channel.. subbed to this too! All content is 100% enjoyable. I never have really had a family, so I think they're giving me something I never experienced. Thank you for that.

I have a rescue dog that has super bad PTSD and overall trauma. When I saw him at the shelter he was cuddled up to the other dogs, but he wanted nothing to do with the people. The shelter staff had not been able to get him to warm up in months. I needed a friend for my other pup while I am working, so I thought it was something we could work on. When they plopped him into my arms as I walked out the door, he was instantly at home. I drove home with him wrapped around my neck like a scarf. At first he was cordial-ish to other people, but then he got very overprotective. Going outside is terrible because his anxiety is so bad he shakes all the time. He bit my brother the first time he met him because my brother "knew" that scratching him just right would make Corbin like him... It didn't work. I know that if others come into the house or to the door and Corbin gets out that he will bite, so I have to be extremely careful. I don't have kids or anything and am able to give him the space that he will not harm anyone or himself. I can completely understand how bad it would hurt to let him go even though he is kind of a monster. I am sorry you went through that and I am glad you were able to find Ruby an environment that she would not have to be put down.

I had to give my dog back to the rescue organization for rehoming, and this video just broke my heart because I know how devastating it can be. I only had my dog about 10 days, (full of jumping fences, chewing madness, and barking matches with neighborhood dogs) but after I found out she was a kelpie mix and would not thrive in the urban living situation I could offer her (she's an intense herding dog), I decided to give her back, knowing she'd be happier in a suburban home with lots of people, activity, and stimulation. She was one of the smartest and sweetest dogs (albeit wild) I'd ever met, and she loved to cuddle. It was heartbreaking, but I know she'll be better off somewhere she can roam freely all day.

We had a similar situation with our dog. We got judged for it. Because we weren’t very consistent with training we knew she could thrive with someone else, but we were unfortunately unable to find her a home and had to give her to a shelter- broke my heart, but she literally had that very day escaped the house and chased down our neighbor who had recently gotten either dementia or Alzheimer’s idk which. But memory was an issue. Like repeating the same thing several times in like less than like 4 mins or so. We also had an infant nephew or I guess I had an infant nephew and my mother had a infant grandson. So that day she decided that was the last straw and we weren’t going to wait for a new home for fear of a lawsuit and possibility of being forced to put her down. We couldn’t do that. So we took her to a shelter. I begged her not too. But looking back I understand,
