After hearing "Stan" back in the day, I actually went out and bought Dido's album because that was my favorite part of the song. Plus one of her other songs was the theme to the show, "Roswell" that I loved. Speaking of slang, I remember back in the day that people used to say, "You're killing me, Smalls." I just recently watch The Sandlot on Disney + with my kids for the first time and was like, "Ohhhh, that's where that came from."

I first learned about Dido from original Roswell!! Loved (and at times, loved to hate) that show. 😁 And as much as I will openly dispute the problematic content of Eminem's lyrics throughout his career ... we saw him in concert (fantastic showman) and it was kinda awesome to see rap fans singing along to Dido.

Funny that Penn and Kim went to Eminem for Stan. Great piece of music. Many people think that Em invited Dido out of nowhere , however in truth. Em had heard the song while he was writing Stan and asked her to be allowed to use it in his. Then he asked her to be in his video, a great move and thus Stan

I think it's interesting. I am a Gen Z and Lola said some things that I have never heard of and somethings have different meanings. Like Stan is like not just a fan but a Stan like obsessed. A lot of times it is used for Musicians and songs. I really enjoyed the video I just think that it is interesting that their is a lot of difference in the way people talk and the things we say depending on where we live. I live right outside Philly so people around me know the Philly slang as well as our stuff
