this is such a beautiful example of what true intimacy with the Father looks like. whenever Jon goes on those riffs, I know its not just him playing, but Holy Spirit directing him in what to play. Jon, just wanted to share something and let you know that God is using you and your music to speak. I was sitting at my art/ worship/writing/ meetplacenwith God desk and was trying to string a turquoise pendant onto a leather lace. I began to sew the ends together as a closure. Without thinking,I was using pressure and trying gnto push the needle all the way through the leather. Just me and my hands( and a hard surface). It made it most of the way through then was stuck. No amount of pulling or wiggling could move it. I thought..."wrong tools for the job". Then the thought, jewelry pliers. Grabbed those, grasped the needle and pulled it right through with such ease. All this as I was listening to this workshop set and the lyrics "when I am weak, that's when You are strong..." and "I take up Your yoke, I know that that it's so easy. I take up Your burden that's light." I have been going through a very difficult, long season in my life and God has been speaking to me in several different ways regarding me, my life, Him, how He sees me,my family....I just wanted you to know that you and this jewelry making session were paired by God to speak to me. Thank you for teaming with God to share His heart. ❤ God bless and keep you and your family.
