I just picked up Foxhole the other day, in large part because of your videos. I wasn't at this battle (or at the same time), but I have been just a few hundred meters to the west having great fun fighting to keep the collies back. Thanks for introducing me to this game.

I was on the other side of this battle, and by the looks of it I think I arrived around the same time you did. That stretch of beach on the north was the first place I went before you guys pushed us back. Then I think I spent a full half hour just trying to keep the bridge alive. It's kind of funny seeing the Warden side here. People getting crowded in the BB was just as much a problem for us as for you. Edit: I also helped with arty later on. It was really difficult for our spotter to see anything with all the thick fog most of the time!

It was a really exciting battle! 82DK had pushed up to the Isle of Psyche town hall a few hours before this fight started, and then all of a sudden this massive wave of collies just swept us up all the way back to the Surge Gate bridge, it was insane! I remember I was firing mortars at the Isle when suddenly our BB was destroyed, and by the time I respawned the order was going out to shift the 120s back to the north side of the bridge (they’d been dug in on the south) and not a moment too soon! It was pretty wild the way the momentum just swung completely in the opposite direction in the span of about 20 minutes, IIRC a few guys were debating whether we should start blowing the bridge before the Collies got there, we didn’t think it was necessary since we’d been doing so well up until that point but then…. Heh.

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing! I liked fighting at the beach on the north. Was a lot more space than the other side. Yea people were not moving out of the way. We were getting pretty hit with arty right on that spot as well. That fog was so awesome for this battle. Really made the immersion. GGs! Hope to see you out there again soon!

@@RobertLovesGames I guess, Like when I load in, I don't know where to go, Like what Hex to go to, I always just go to the highest pop hex and run around for a bit, then get off. I was in the Royal Spud regiment when I first started playing and I was so dedicated to the game, I would leave discord open while sleeping in case QRF's were needed and honestly some of the best gameplay I've ever experienced were in this game holding bridges, But returning as a solo, It feels very overwhelming, I have no idea what to do, and I don't like using resources just to log and not return. I think I'm going to do some research and learn how to Logi, and do backline stuff, and maybe work my way up the ranks again. Craving a solid MMO lately and nothing fills the void xD, but after watching your recent video's, It looks exciting and fun and possibly what I've been missing haha. Appreciate the reply, and keep doing what you are doing, I think it's great for the game (:

On this day sadly my regiment (night) was doing an op in deadlands and i was also defending saltfarm until we got overruned and was forced to retreat to the pits

Okay Definitely Gonna pick up the game and start playing on my days off this week. Watched some more tutorial videos and such. Looks really fun, liking the different aspects of logistics and building fortifications to assist in the war effort, especially when going in and dying over and over can suck as a new player to a new game. This is Warden propaganda this was a counter push by the Colonials after the Wardens got to the Isle of Psyche townhall and couldn't take it. This is the Wardens trying to make themselves look good after horribly failing to take a Town hall that had no shirts in it. I was there pushing from the defense of the Townhall to the push over the bridge and making them pay for every inch. I was fun and I had a blast!

Little tip for ya: You can cook grenades by holding left click and then letting go to release the grenade. You should really wait 2 seconds so the grenade has enough time to land and explode on impact.

Ship support is in the game right now and primarily does artillery assaults. A new navy update is coming out in the next month which should have a lot more ships! The dev update stream is this next Thursday. I would recommend checking that out if you are interested in ship play.
