Back in the days when musicians sounds exactly like the studio version or even better live.
@crankystinkleton42843 жыл бұрын
You know what's funny? Back then, people were saying the exact same thing about these bands "Oh, they can't play their instruments. Nothing like the 60s bands" They also said it about the 60s era bands "What's wrong with a bit of nice jazz then?" They said it about the 40s era bands: "This jazz is just noise. How about some classical?" Etc etc etc. You don't need to shit on modern music to appreciate what's in the past.

Courtney was amazing In the early 90s. I saw hole in concert in 2013 her voice was so damaged from cigarette she could barely scream!
@BugRib3 жыл бұрын
@@sabrinatiffany45 - Also damaged from the screaming itself, probably. Makes me wonder how Kurt Cobain’s would have held up. He probably would’ve had to transition into more MTV Unplugged-style music, and retired most of the screamers.

They didn’t suck so hard after ‘Live Through This’, artists and bands evolve, ‘Celebrity Skin’ featured exceptional songs, just because it had a more mainstream sound doesn’t mean it sucked and everything Courtney did since then has been A1 songwriting.
