Well, Eddie did put himself into position to win if he got all 6 points on the last hole. Sure, there was a lot of luck involved in the win, but if Steven and Danny had both opened up a bigger lead on Eddie, the last hole wouldn't have mattered.

Do you think Tiger ever went to the PGA and said "Hey guys, hole 10 at Augusta is wack. Is there anyway we can just replay another hole instead?" No, because golfers know they "play it as it lies." Every player gets the same opportunity at the same hole. Sometimes you catch a good break, sometimes you catch a bad break but the opportunity is all the same for everyone.

19:15 Eddie shouldn't have been putting Danny's balls into the cup. This cup has a history of bounce outs and Danny's third ball might have bounced out if the cup was empty.

Not sure if that course has multiple 18th holes...but that is the worst one you could have picked. The corn hole 18th would have been a skilled way to win versus plinko luck.

I don't think any of us like hole 18 at this point, especially for a challenge like this. Eddie wouldn't have won without that level of luck (but yay eddie!). I still love that you're doing this kind of challenge, and the scoring makes it interesting. But ... is that skee-ball i see?? We need a match! Let's go!

For the sake of the official scores, you might want to state that the luck-based hole is just for fun, and same for similar type holes in other courses. I like gimmicky setups but only for fun and I don't count them when playing against people, since competitions should really be based more on skill.

Team Anyone But Eddie. Edit: I don't see the point in using hole 18 in this style of scoring any more than I do in standard scoring. Hole 18 has great potential to completely negate the entire round's results. It'd be like playing an entire season, where one team wins the division, and maybe you have a wildcard team un second, but come the plsyoffs, all eight teams from the division are given a postseason slot. There's no point in playing that season.

Should give a bonus point on holes 8 (cones), 11 (tire), 12 (house), 14 (bowling), and 16 (steps) for at least going 3 for 3 with getting on the right path. Wouldn't change much for this game (Danny gains 1 point for the tire hole) but could make a difference in the future on this course or a different course with similar types of holes

We only have two minature golf courses here in Chattanooga and both are concrete. Back in the day, we had two different Putt Putt courses and the balls are bounced off of metal surfaces. The reactions are completely different from what they're getting playing courses with concrete or wood. I'd love to see them at a golf course playing off of metal, especially a Hole In One contest like this one. Every hole at our Putt Putt courses was a Par 2 and the way they play, they could probably each make at least 14 Holes In One if they were bouncing the balls of a metal surface.

I'd tweak the scoring system so that only your first "make" counts. If you make the first one, you get three points, and are done.

I don’t like 18 for this challenge. It comes down to luck. The other holes require luck and skill. So, a player who doesn’t play well the whole game is lucky at plinko and win?! I think maybe a different hole 18 would be better.
