This song is about a woman (Hiʻiakaikapoliopele) bidding farewell to her female lover (Hōpoe) from atop the cliff of Hōlei. This version is also sung by me, an openly gay man. Thank you for giving more life to this story and supporting my own lifestyle by purchasing this mele.

Beautiful dancing and choreography. Would love to teach this hula using your choreography and would like your permission to do so. Would definitely credit you as choreographer. Thanks.

Love your choreography, and how perfectly your hands speak! But even more, I love the joy you express in your hula. A pleasure to watch! Mahalo so much for sharing this!

To be a kumu hula, you are way too bouncy. You should be graceful from your foot n hand movements to your hips. That, you are not! It is an embarrassment to those you learned from.
