nin's a 28 year old professional tekken player from korea... he feels no pressure he just thought holeman was going to do something different... happens to most people a lot more often
@hosakakurokawa13 жыл бұрын
@OverKiiiillll it just says that lars is more straightforward. He's by no means a "better" character than steve. Besides tiers don't really mean shit in tekken. and especially if you're judging your proficiency by "online" play and not local play then doing better really means nothing.
@SteveFusionX12 жыл бұрын
I think you may be onto something actually.. re safe moves - perhaps an internal "stamina" variable that would make them less safe if used over and over, that would make quite an interesting dynamic.

this is better than tekken 7 .

@MrNinjapony Its pretty hard to time it and if he guesses by mistake it leads to a whiff punish or worse a counter hit if it was a kick esp. Against Lars who has the cross under kick launcher so its super risky.

Yea i look back now and some of Noko's moves are a little awkward. Even i would say i'm better than noko in those videos. But the ones against another yoshi and some others looked masterful.. I'll have to see Nobi's yoshi. Watching yoshimitsu is so much fun :)

@x2ctothemax well it's true that Lars is overall a damn good character, always considered top 5 whether in Korea, Japan, US, and etc, but I say Law, Bryan, and Bob are even better characters in terms of overall character potential.

I love Lars but he's so much more overpowering than people actually know. He's for anybody.
@wanmigchampo1112 жыл бұрын
I know this is late but it's for them to follow the rules.. in arcade battle, the winner gets stuck with the character he used and the loser may change his character.. that's also tournament setting rules and not to mention it's to avoid handicap problems

@hosakakurokawa14 жыл бұрын
@rielax04 lol? Tekken unbalanced? Hardly. VF and Tekken are the most balanced fighting games . Street fighter is definitely less balanced. I mean, can you honestly say the shotos aren't easy mode? Or that Makoto can easily hold her own against Ibuki or Dudley?You can say its based on the player, but the same goes for Tekken, and then you have to realize that the difference in tiers on tekken is infinitely lower than on SF.

Dude, that was a great finals ^_^

dude seriously i've looked, i can't find any nobi videos. None of them are labeled Nobi. There's videos of Nobi playing Bob, but no yoshi.

@dualshock3 lars in a way is easier to control yes. and I don't know what you're talking about BR is already out XD. And he doesnt need toning down, Steve still has more damage capability as well as mixup capability. It just so happens that Holeman probably has the greatest pressure game of any Tekken player and pokes like fuck.

Idk, if they've ever faced each other, but i wonder who would win... Nin... or Noko? I think Nin's steve would have the technical advantage but then Noko's Yoshi is just so unpredictable..
@rielax0414 жыл бұрын
@Begad1988 when you talk about balance issues.... i think tekken sucks about that! Balance in tekken is bad since tekken 1!! thats why even if i play tekken more than other gameS, i think Street Fighter is the best fighting game ever!! this coming from a tekken fan..
@GaspoweR12 жыл бұрын

Is there a fighting game without safe moves? I feel like Tekken has a lot of risk in throwing out quick moves because they can be sidestepped. Only an idiot would throw out unsafe moves hoping to be punished over and over. Unless you play Naruto or something where mashing right trigger gets you out of combos and half the cast has an invincible comeback mechanic.

of course you don't.

@Begad198814 жыл бұрын
@dualshock3 Br has come out for some months now :S btw steve is really one of the hardest players in the game... but Tekken is undoubtedly balanced as hell... steve is hard.. but he can be a real pain in the ass... in the meanwhile lars is easier but not so surprising as steve

i hate lars his moves are to safe and quick his combos are to easy and too dameging he also has so much range. i know this cause my brother who is the same age as me fyi im a twin :3 but any he sucks at fighting games he is a cod fanboy and he looks to play somewhat like this lars player i mean hes got combos but sloppy point is not much skill is needed to play lars but steve in the other hand is hard to get comfy with...try him go ahead...
