One of my all time favourite videos! Caught it on tape from some old Russian TV show which just happened to reach abroad, and for some ten frustrating years didn't even know whose video it is... For the record, though, the name of the "band" is Ohi-Ho Bang Bang, which Hiller formed with Akiko Hada in 1988. I think they only made this one video single - which obviously is a crying shame.

WAAAY ahead of it's time. I was lucky enough to hear about this when it came out. It was featured on an alternative music show on studio Brussels called Domino. The presenter was Luc Janssen and to this day he's called the godfather of new music.

Night Network ! Legendary show, especially the record reviews here, and this one lasted the whole way through without being zapped. And deservedly so! Mute records was the home of electro-sampling

It was done with an Emulator. The first Emulator came in 1981. The Residents used it extensively on their Mole Show tour back then.

Music is just organised noise. And noise is poison to the mind. Please poison me some more. I have the 12" of this, and yet again, nobody seems to have heard of it. I think that the word 'Genius' does not do Holger Hiller justice. This track was so far ahead of it's time, there is a distinct possibility that nobody will catch it up. Kudos!
