I think I like that last one Mr. Dickens and his Carol. I love the movie that came out a few years ago about how the book was written, so I would really if I have time to get a chance to read that book. Thanks so much for sharing😊

I enjoyed this so much! I always love hearing about the books you're reading for the season. Little Women is such a great book and the cook book that goes with it is wonderful. I had not seen that before. I think you and your girls will love the book and also making things from the cook book to go along with it. Your idea of doing that is really great because it will really draw your children into reading by getting them interested. Fabulous books today!🎄

Hi Taylor! Thank you so much for the recommendations! I’m always looking for a good read during the holiday season. I love Little women an I read it many years ago ago. So glad I am not the only one that associates with Christmas 😊 I love a good mystery as well so I will definitely have to check your recommendations out. The Nutcracker always brings back wonderful memories of when my girls were little TFS 🥰💖

Hiddensee didn't do it for me either, unfortunately. It just wasn't Christmasy or Nutcracker-y haha. I can recommend Midnight in Everwood by Maria Kuzniar as a good retelling, though! It has the most amazing, atmospheric descriptions of magical towns and smells and sounds - perfect cozy Christmas read imo! The Enchanted Sonata by Heather Dixon Wallwork was also pretty good, and worth a read, I enjoyed Everwood a bit better though 🎄
