Good candles are expensive. I think hers are in line with higher end. I’ve bought couple and have skipped a couple (even tho I’d like to buy them all). Such as everything else in life, you’re not obligated to buy. Pick and choose what’s important and what you can afford.

MaCenna come to Connecticut and get some real snow. We got 6 inches Wednesday into Thursday. Woke up at 5am to see undisturbed roads and snow on the limbs of trees. It was so beautiful. I could see you were having trouble leaving Cade. Hope you had a wonderful night out.❤

It’s not about willpower. Oftentimes, it’s your subconscious mind, programmed to think food = comfort. I learned a lot about that a couple of months ago from a coach and have lost 14 lbs since without any diet. I recommend watching the video ‘How Your Subconscious Mind Keeps You Gaining Weight’ by Christian Weninger. He really helped me!

I do that too...when I'm stressed/bored and hungry, I'll try to mke something that has some good fuel, like whole food etc, and then I'm not also stressed over what i ate also. Sometimes doing something productive or going on a walk will help me think through whatever is stressful

We tried to go out for our 5th anniversary as our first real time out. Our daughter was 18 mos (we had no family anywhere near and just took her everywhere with us or we didn't go up till then). We went to dinner, nothing super fancy, and then we were lost. We had moved to a little town in the middle of nowhere and there was nothing to do! We had planned to go to the movies - it used to be something we had lived and, pre-baby, we went weekly. When we got there, it was the day the movie changed and whatever planned in wasn't playing. And neither of us was interested in what they were showing. We walked up and down the Main Street - 5 blocks one way and then back - and then we drove around aimlessly for awhile. We even considered going bowling but the alley was closed. So we just went home. We were gone a grand total of 2 hours. We paid the babysitter for 5 hours and I was mad I'd done that when I went to get a Coke from the fridge and saw the dinner is made for both of them to eat still sitting there, untouched! She never fed the baby!! And, yes, she knew she was supposed to! It was a while before I left her with someone aside from my mother again (which was once in a blue moon when one of us was visiting). I was never so glad to move back to the city where every movie was playing and there were tons of things to do!
