For my 7 layer salad, I always add a 1/2 tablespoon of bacon grease to the mayo. Adds wonderful flavor. You're a great cook.

I like your dress and cute socks. I did all these things. I love making breads of all kinds. I'm very ill now so I can't so I love watching you. It takes me back. We are very active in our Church too. I loved cooking , sewing, canning , drying food and flowers , fruit leather , candy making at the holidays doing history , children , freezing food and you name it. Your so clean and neat. I am in WV. I take 7 layer salad to every potluck! I change the ingredients sometimes but it is ALWAYS devoured! Lol. My sweet brother-in- law. Handwrote ALL of my Dear Mother-in-law's recipes, it was a Christmas gift to me years ago, and that recipe was in the box!
