So, a little off topic, but I thought this was kind of awesome. Pentatonix has been my favorite musical artist since I saw them on the Sing Off, bar none. I moved from northern Minnesota to Nashville a few months ago to go to school for audio engineering, since recording music is a passion of mine. I quickly realized that I needed a job to get by. Career services suggested one that happened to be pressing vinyl records. It sounded awesome. A chance to learn about the history of the field that I would give just about anything to work in. I applied, and got the job as an operator of the machines that press the records. I got to work today and looked at what I was pressing, and it turned out to be Pentatonix's new album. I had seen it in other parts of the building, but this time, I got to press them. I freaked out a little bit, did a happy dance out of view of everyone else, and made sure to take extra special care of the plates that contain my favorite music. So, don't worry, your vinyl records are in very good hands. I will care for them as though they are my own.
