Love it...thanks for sharing. I am crazy for vintage Christmas. Because of my pets I've also gone to 3 to 4 ft trees on tables and have had zero issues.

Loved your home tour!! So many wonderful decorations! Love your blue lamp in the living room. Your dinette is similar to the kitchen table we had growing up. Ours didn't fold down; we had blue vinyl chairs. Nice meeting Frank and Rosie; wouldn't have minded seeing the cat toys😸😸🐾🐾. Happy New Year to both of you‼️‼️🎊

Of course since I do live in a 1865 built by Valentine Kerr a Pennsylvania farm that is all I know. My house is decorated in old painted primiTiveS. But when I had son (surprise @ almost 42) Started decorating in Retro. One day this beautiful beige/ cream 3 sectional retro sofa showed up. I have had the brown 1 piece ones and have sold them. But have never seen this style or color ever for sale or come to an auction. There were 2 other younger collectors/sellers that always came to the same auction I go to. Only that day only one of them was there. Everyone knew my son and he always came with us. Since all our family was in other states. Long story I made a deal with this collector/ dealer... That is what I am always a collector/ pretty much retired seller. But I made the deal with him... I will pay you $500.00 to say off this and let me bid. Plus whatever it goes for. Paid $600.00 to him. Bought $100.00 at the auction. Retro was just starting to be collectible here. But I always bought it for my son collection. Old "Hams" Bear Beer sign. Not for the beer sign but for the Bear haha other signs. Old retro Lockers (those suckers are heavy) of course one set is Orange. Also, had a dealer that would come from Michigan to the show that I would (primitive) do and buy it all from me. Never knew if she was coming? That is why I always bought What I liked. Set it up in a corner. She always came. Been thru every phase of antiques. We had a new split foyer house before we bought this house in 1987.We have 5 acres of land out in the country. Think some days I am sick. Haha Hmm maybe I should go buy a New House? Maybe do it all in mission oak Haha well that will never happen the way houses are sky high & mission oak furniture has not showed up around here for years. Probably from around here got sold to people in Chicago. Also, can't move because I have too much stuff and cupboards I cannot part with. SO you all are in the next of the woods on those primiTiveS there. Hope you will never pass up a cheap good old painted firkin/sugar bucket? Or a good old dry painted wooden bowl. Or just a good old woman bowl. Mine started a crack in the 90's hasn't moved anymore. But just the idea, it was perfect. Which pretty much my stuff hast to be perfect and with the right patina. Crazing I love tho. Ohh a LoVe those oLd jointed Bears. Well again really enjoy the video. All of them! Always a Halloween/ Christmas collector. Learning on here about Glass. Started learn it but stopped when there was so muCh to learn. Also, when they started reproducing pieces.
